Why does my wool duvet have a sheepy scent?

The classic wool duvet is entirely natural. It is constructed using natural materials, including 100% traceable British wool. All our wool is double-scoured. However, there can sometimes be a slight sheepy scent upon initial opening.

How do I get rid of that scent?

This will subside within a few hours of opening up your packaging - airing the product before use will speed up this process.

Can I wash the classic duvet?

Wool is self-cleaning and therefore does not require frequent washing. If you do want to freshen up your duvet, you can air it outside to encourage air circulation. Dry clean only.
