So few people selling DDR3L SO-DIMM sticks now, good to see Timetec, though a more generic brand, offering this solution. Works perfectly in my Synology DS620slim. I got tired of waiting for Synology to upgrade their 62Xslim line, so I ended up buying a used used - mint unit amazon warehouse for a big deal. RAM works perfectly, fully compatible with my Synoiogy NAS and boots without issue. DDR3L is pretty dated, would've been better value if slightly cheaper as I paid for identical sticks back in March of this year for nearly half the price by EMMCRAM, but they dont sell em anymore. RAM passes Synology Assistant Memory Test. Memory OEM is made by SK Hynix.

Pros: - Perfect compatibility with the Alienware Alpha R1 - 16GB = obvious overall performance boost - Easy installation, no BIOS adjustments Cons: - None Upgraded RAM on Alienware Alpha R1. Assembly was quick and painless, taking less than 10 minutes (assuming you've taken your R1 apart before).

For 20 bucks - this was a great upgrade from the 8GB was running before with synology memory. I know the 4GB stick I got from synology was way more than this. I know there is a bit of debate if the ds918+ can even use 16 over the stated 8GB limit.. But sure seems to be working for me.. Only been running for less than 24 hours so far.. But sure seems to be seen and used. Really updated the amount being used as cache.. Stuff seems snappier and file transfers seem to be a bit quicker.

Used for overprovisioning Zotac CI-327 NANO which by spec can support only 8 GB as uses N3450. By fact, it runs with 16 GB perfect without any memory or stability issues.

Terrific pricing on this product cost me half as much to get this delivered to NZ and delivered in 3 days. Local ripoff retailers wanted $135AUD. Works perfectly and at full speed on 5k Imac 27 late 2015.

I ordered this laptop memory for my Acer R7-572. This laptop is still working great but I wanted to make it run just a little bit more faster. So, I upgraded the installed SSD to a bigger, newer and faster SATA SSD (1TB) and the 8GB (DDR3 1600MHz 4GB x 2)total memory to this 16GB Kit (8GB DDR3 1866MHz X 2) memory module. So far, so good. Laptop is running stable and a little bit faster than before. I generally buy Corsair memory but I gave this Timetec RAM a try and so far so good.
