cheaper than a face lift and keeps my nostrils open.
I lost 150 lb and so had a saggy face when I slept on my side. My cheek skin slid over and almost closed off my nostril when I slept on my side. The lower nostril was on the pillow and sometimes was compressed as well. Doctor said only solution was face lift or CPAP( this would force air into nose) No money for a face lift, weight loss cured sleep apnea, and I was snoring a lot and not sleeping well. Got these nasal dilators and problem solved! NO snoring. Have used for several years and just now got new ones. Very pleased. Soft and comfortable. If you have true sleep apnea these are NOT going to help as your problem is lower in throat/mouth area.

Works well
I was skeptical about if these would work and afraid of sores developing in my nose. I wasn't sure which size I would need, so I ordered both medium and large. I started trying the medium and it worked well. I did start to get a sore spot on my nostril with the deviated septum. The dilator went up too far and was rubbing against wall of my nostril. I fixed it by cutting that side a little shorter and apply nasal moisturizer on the dilators before putting them in. I had no problem with them falling out during my sleep. I could immediately tell that my air intake through my nose was a lot better. I stayed with the medium size for about a week. I decided to try the large size to see if they would be better. They open my nostrils a bit more. I use these in conjunction with mouth tape. I wear a smart watch that monitors my O2 levels during sleep and noticed that before the dilators, my levels dropped down into the low 80's and sometimes 70's, which is pretty scarey. And that was with the magnetic device that opens your nasal. While using these dilators, my O2 levels during sleep are in the 90's, much better! While I do still snore, it is not near as loud as it used to be. I recommend these. If the inside of your nose gets irritated, try using nasal moisturizer and keep trying to use them until your nasal get used to them.

They worked some of the time
I got these for help keep my nostrils from closing up while I sleep. Stuffy nostrils wake me up and keep me from returning to sleep. Most nights they worked well, but not all nights. They take some getting used to. And one night they seemed to make one nostril bleed slightly.

Can't sleep well without them
I have a deviated septum, which prevents me from breathing if I sleep on my right side. These dilators keep both nostrils open. I have tried dilator cones, and these are by far the most comfortable. Other cheaper versions use a harder material that is painful for me to use; one was so hard it even caused me to bleed. You get what you pay for! Don't skimp on the price. These are great. The little connection between the two cones eventually fails after about 9 months of use. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to make that connection a little bit thicker and more durable.

Unfortunately NOT the same Product
I’m really disappointed with the new version of the product. It’s completely different from what I received before. The material feels hard and cheap, and it’s very uncomfortable to use. It actually hurts my nose, which defeats the whole purpose of buying it. The previous one was much softer and better quality, but this feels poorly made and not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it unless the material is improved. Definitely not purchasing again.

Solves the breathe / sleep problem
My nose gets stuffed easily, and so I’ve worn nose strips for 30 years when I sleep, and will probably wear them for the rest of my life. However, if I want to take a nap, even a long nap, I can’t wear a nose strip because that is at least an 8-hour commitment. If you wear a nose strip for a nap, good luck taking it off without tearing the skin off your nose. However, the Snore Bastion nasal dilators are great for opening up the nasal passages, and therefore they work well for naps. If you have a cold or some other reason that causes more than usual clogged nasal passages, you can combine a nose strip with Snore Bastion dilators and you’ll breathe really well. I recommend the extra-large even if you don’t have a large nose, because the entire length of the dilator does not need to go into the nose. As far as snoring goes, I can’t comment on that because I sleep alone, and if I snore, I don’t ever hear it.

Bastion stands by their product.
I want to add that Bastion refunded me plus sent a new package out. The automated Amazon wanted me to return a product I never received, Bastion came thru and made up for what Amazon will be charging me. Though a bit of a hassle to to deal with all this - so will order from Bastion again. The nose vents are soft and flexible, they do not collapse in my nose. I have one nostril that wants to close up at night. I wanted the purchased nose vents to last so I cut the center strip and viola! I had two. Great idea until I had to go digging with tweezers in my nose to fetch the line vent that found its way way up in my nostril. So now I just use both nose vents. I tend to forget they are in and sometimes start to leave home with them in. Embarrassing, but hey, I can breathe. Thank you Bastion for the replacement and the refund. Earlier review: I had ordered 1 set, but only received 1 instead of 4. I ordered again, so now I’m in $30., but received none. This time I complained. I received a set of 6 from Bastion. I was pleased. However, Amazon is waiting for me to return the order that I never received. I don’t know how to do that. If I get billed for the last set that was meant to make up for the previous two ordered - then I will go nuts. All I want is to keep my nostrils open, and these work for me, but I’m going crazy just to get what I paid for. I think Bastion is trying to help, but Amazon insists on me returning something I never received. Bastion did help with a refund, and I’m very grateful. If you order from them, and there is an error, Bastion follows through to make things right. I will order from them again.

Too small
I bought after reading decent reviews. I was interested due to the silicone cone vs plastic. I’ve ordered the sold soft silicone in the past from other companies and ordered a Med/Large and they fit perfectly and you barely noticed they were in there. Very soft. I got these in a large and they fit like the smalls in my other packs. They were harder silicone and more sharp too. Im not sure these would fit my 10 year old. I filled out a return with my description and am being asked to send them back. Which is gross, but okay. Also for a 4 pack $17 is too much for something defected, painful and too small.
