Great for applying before encountering hot surfaces

Great product to protect my puppy's paws. I live in a city with lots of snow, ice, and a surplus of sidewalk salt. The balm protected my puppy's tiny feet and kept her paw pads soft. She doesn't mind when I put it on her. She's not a fan of wearing boots instead.

It works well. I just find it difficult to get enough out at a time

I wanted to try this for my babies paws since I walk him alot. It's getting in the summer time and the ground is hot. I know his paws were getting very rough and I wanted to see if something could help him out. He does NOT like anyone messing w his feet so I was a little worried. But I opened it up and rubbed his paws and in between the main big paw pad and he loved it. He let me do my thang and yes he did want to lick it but surprisingly not all of it. So as soon as I give him a bath today I plan on really rubbing them down and doing it on an every other day basis. It is pet friendly and it's easy the wipe off and not greasy. I love the top of the lid cause it was cute. The smell isn't bad and the texture is just like when u put on chap stick. Very safe for dogs the lick off. I will keep using and see how it goes when the tin is gone. So far so good!

My husky was having issues with her right paw on frigid days (5 degrees or below). I started putting PawTection Balm on all her paws to prevent them from sticking to the ice, and this has made an enormous difference. Unfortunately for me, she wants to be outside in the cold longer!

I moved to the "great white north" a couple years ago with my dog, a beagle mix from the southern US. She [both of us, actually] are not a huge fan of the cold, especially the ice. The Pawtection worked great for protecting her paw pads from the worst of the snow and ice! I noticed that she had a lot less dryness and cracking this year from last. My only complaint is the thickness of the product - it's akin to cold butter in consistency and it made for a challenge to get out of the tiny tin or spread on her feet. I would scoop about a dime size out and warm it it in my hands before spreading on her paws [which she hated, by the way], but it never really spread evenly. I wish it was more like a warm butter consistency. At any rate, it worked better than the boots that I spent a fortune on that she refused to wear!

I was skeptical of this product at first because I never believe everything that I read. However, this product is wonderful. It is super easy to apply and makes my doggies paws Extremely soft and less callous. The ground outside is rough and it’s nice that he can have some moisture to protect himself before and after walks. I usually use this before a walk and before we go to bed. When we wake up in the morning, his paws are brand new. Absolutely amazing and I know he loves it.

Bought it for my frenchy who keeps scratching but not sure if it worked, still scratching but i'l give it more time let's see...and too expensive for tiny containers
