Haven't had the opportunity to use this many times but did find it to have a very quiet motor and be really easy to use. One dog didn't mind having his nails filed with the grinder straight out of the box, the other ran away. Typical! Desensitisation is essential.

I cannot give the item 5 stars as I havent used it on my dogs claws but it seems well made and arrived very quickly

Good for filing both the dog's and cat's nails but takes a long time. It is easier to clip the nail first then just file so it is not so sharp. Takes to long and my dog and cat are far too agitated to sit still for such a long time

Love it got 2 out of 3dogs to sit still . The grinder is quiet its painless for the dog . Im all in favour of anything that helps me cut my dogs claws with ease . As none of them like them cutting 2out of the 3 bite . So when I saw this I had to give it a try . Im very impressed so far .Love that it is re chargeable. Brilliant would recommend .

It states for large dogs, well I have a choc lab and I would be there forever trying to done one claw. I think it would work better on smaller dogs, sorry

This little grinder is fantastic! I took it out of the package and it was ready to go! I did charge it for a hour just in case before using. Now, in all honesty, she has had her nails grinded before at PetSmart. So, she IS used to having that done.She was laying down and I just worked on one paw. Later on I went to do another one when she moved. And so on. She even had her eyes closing as if she was sleepy a few times. I think holding the nail where it comes out of the paw is really helpful for them not to feel a huge vibration.This little grinder is the quietest I've found. Now, all grinders are going to make SOME kind of sound (at least that I have found) so those who say it still makes noise, well if you can find me one that is totally silent, please let me know.If your baby is scared, just go slowly, and dont traumatize them by just going straight in right away with it if they arent used to this being done on them (or even if they are!). It takes trust, and knowing this wont hurt them. Treats between each nail will help them as well as praising them verbally. Take your time and let them see this isn't a torture device (they don't always understand what is going on).I hope this product lasts a long time, but for the cost, I wouldnt be upset if I had to replace it once a year, I'd be totally fine with that. The purchase of this is around the amount I pay to go take her to get her nails done ONCE! It's worth the price and affordable if another has to be purchased.Overall, I'm just sooooo incredibly happy with this little grinder!! It will change my dogs life! And I appreciate anything that helps my baby. She is happier already and I still have some work to do with her, but as I said, I can do it whenever I want to now.Give it a try, and be realistic about how long you have to take to have your baby be ok with having this done. Some dogs will take longer to not be scared. Some will be fine right away. You can do it whenever you want. A little at a time or one nail at a time if need be. You'll get it done. There's no rush. Rushing and pushing your dog to sit all at once the first time could backfire on you. And you don't want that. You want this to be something your dog will not mind, or at least sit and tolerate for you.I for one, wish I had found this years ago! It would have saved me $25 every month or two! Give it a try.

Maravilloso producto! La verdad que me ha sorprendido gratamente. Es muy silencioso, práctico, lima tan bien k no necesito ni cortar la uña y es facilísimo de cargar. Mi perrita no se estresa como con el corte de uñas y yo tampoco... no tengo miedo de cortarle la venita y puedo dejarle las uñas más cortita y suaves que con la tijera. Lo recomiendo!

Nice but the micro USB charging port is outdated

This is a brilliant little tool. Our dog will tolerate us doing his nails with this while he will not sit still for normal clippers
