No modifications were required to install and even the connections were the same. Wire colours were even the same.When finished installing and filling with water I couldn't wait to try out the gas as with my previous heater it would run perfectly for 1 fire up then require reset before it would fire again.I went in the rv and turned it on. I had to check for leaks so kinda got busy too. I asked my wife if she heard it fire and she as well as myself couldn't hear it. Damn. I went out and checked and sure enough it was operating as it should.
