I absolutely love my Cricut EasyPress! It makes heat transfer projects so simple and stress-free. The temperature controls are accurate, it heats up quickly, and it distributes heat evenly — which makes a huge difference in getting clean, long-lasting results. I’ve used it for shirts, hoodies, and other fabric projects, and everything comes out looking professional. No cold spots, no guessing like with a household iron. The design is lightweight and easy to handle, but still powerful enough to get the job done right. If you do any kind of HTV or sublimation projects, this is 100% worth having. It takes the guesswork out of pressing and gives consistent results every time!

I bought the Cricut EasyPress2 for it's portability. I wanted to be able to press when I travel. I got so much more than I expected. I love the test bag and htv that came with it. This was awesome for trying it out without chancing ruining one of my own items. It heats up so much faster than my traditional heat press. It is also MUCH quieter than my traditional heat press. This will be awesome for late night projects. I pressed the onesies above at 305 degrees in 15 second intervals. I pressed each one twice and did not use a teflon sheet. The EP2 delivered a great press on each piece. It is super easy to use. Just press the temp button (then the + or - symbol) to adjust the temperature and the timer button to adjust the time. It features a warning sound if you leave it turned on. After the warning sounds, it will shut itself off. I am going to use this from now on for my quick or small projects. If you do not have a heat press, this is so much better than using an iron. If you do not have a heat press and you are buying this as your only heat press, I recommend getting the larger one. This size will not cover an adult shirt in one press. Also go ahead and order the heat resistant mat. You will need something lay your garments on before you press.

Once you get the right settings, understand the cold peel vs hot peel and temperatures required for each material, then using this will be smooth sailing, if you miss that, you might think this doesn't work well. What I absolutely love about it, was if you were new to the hold idea of heat pressing it came with a complimentary bag and glitter htv cricut cut out for your first project, all are still going strong. I'd recommend it.

Works great!

I had a heat press that I had to get rid of because it took up too much room. I decided to go with a smaller hand-held heat press. I tried another brand, and it turned out to be just an expensive paperweight. The heat was uneven, and I never once got it to adhere the whole design--I had to finish every one with my iron. Consequently, I was very hesitant to purchase the Cricut. I decided to take a chance on this Cricut Easy Press 2, and I am so glad I did. It has worked perfectly every single time. The machine comes with clear instructions on how to use it -- how to prep the fabric for it and how to get the best results. I am very happy with it. It is perfect -- it works great and it doesn't take up a lot of room. Just a note -- if you don't have a pressing pad, I recommend you get one. I think it works much better than the folded towel they say to use if you don't have a pressing pad. Thankfully, the paperweight I bought before came with two, so I was ready to go when the Easy Press arrived.

So first things first, the reason for 4 stars: The device requires a micro-USB cable for registration and firmware updates, however it is not shipped with one. I've different types of tech, so I had a spare one that worked, but not everyone will have spare cables laying around. This might also make it difficult to initially setup if you're not using a PC. Things I really liked: It came with a sample piece of vinyl and a bag to hold the heat press in that you could practice your first bit of heat pressing. I was very nervous about potentially ruining a shirt, and when I saw that, I was very relieved because it put me more at ease having the chance to do a first press on materials they provided. I do wish that the sample vinyl came with some sort of description of what type of vinyl it was, just to make it easy should I want to purchase that same vinyl or similar at a later date. Does its job! I had to do several presses on some of the designs to get it to work, but I don't think that was the heat press's fault, just the variety of vinyl being used having to have lots of different temperatures. It handled going from 330 to 315 to 290 without any difficulty for pressing different types of vinyl. Definitely better control and reliability than I would get from a normal iron. Does need to be used in tandem with the Cricut website, at least to start, so that you can learn what temperatures to use. I love that it comes with a silicon holder, so you have somewhere to put the hot press in between pressing and while it pre-heats.
