This is fantastic stuff! I tried a different fig jam just out of curiosity. I won't do that again. This is the best of the best!

I bought two different jars of fig preserves at the same time and this Dalmatia brand was far superior to the Bonne Maman brand....the Bonne Maman was not bad but had a lower ratio of figs to sugar and not as much flavor or texture. The Dalmatia brand was not overly sugary sweet and had a more concentrated figgy flavor than the lesser brand and had a nice amount of seeds....I generally don't like seeds in raspberry or blackberry preserves but the fig seeds were delicately crunchy and were not a problem in my teeth like other berry seeds in jams. I especially like the jam with cheese and crackers and have heard that it makes a nice spread on a turkey sandwich.

At $7.50 a jar it was about the same price as from any grocery. Robust, jammy with seed texture. Love it

Despite the heavy duty bubble wrap packaging, one jar's seal popped and left a sticky mess in the packaging. The other jar is in great shape with the seal still intact.

I learned about this spread on a trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Sanctuary in Texas. They have a small cafe on the premises and my two friends stopped and I stopped in for bite to eat after our walking the grounds. The fruit spread they had on the turkey sandwich was so delicious that one of my friends and I asked for the recipe and it was this spread. They had added water and removed the seeds (I don't mind the seed AT ALL) so I promptly ordered some. I have since reordered it again and bought a second jar for my friend for her birthday. It is excellent on ham sandwiches as well. Lovely lovely flavor and well worth the price. Please order it and enjoy it. I know those that eat goat cheese an bread will thank me.
