While i personally prefer heavy weight irons, this one is super light weigtht, but does it's job right. The only problem i have with this particular iron is it doesn't have dry heat. For example, when i want to attach the patch or fusible backing, its says to use hottest heat without any steam. This iron goes to the highest setting heat with steam only( can't have dry heat). Other than that- great iron.
