This scrum cap is probably the best I've ever used. Its material is a thick (0.5-0.75in) foam that bounces pretty well when impacted. Furthermore, the outer cover of the scrum cap is made of a very slick and smooth foam that reduces friction and pressure on the head and ears in a scrum. I highly recommend this scrum cap if you want something that you can use your whole rugby career.

This one fit her slightly big compared to other brands that are for babies and toddlers. Has enough protection on on the sides and towards the back of the head. I highly recommend this product especially if your toddler has alot of hair. That's one reason why I purchased this helmet, because my toddler has alot of hair, and the other baby/toddler brands that said had expanders, were not big enough to fit her head.

I bought 3 of these for my husband who uses it for jiu jitsu. Previously we had gotten him ear covers to protect his ears from swelling, but the other students would complain that the ear covers hurt them when they would roll with my husband. This padded helmet not only protects my husband's ears, but the other students aren't complaining about it because it doesn't hurt them. And in fact, they are considering getting this helmet as well. The price point is really good for this too.

Update 7-21-23: The protective head gear worked wonders, protected my Dad's surgical area with style, without discomfort and was breathable. We used it during the day and at bedtime when it was tolerable otherwise it would be taken off. It was very easy to clean with mild soap n water by hand or toss in washing machine (gentle cycle) and then let air dry. It will protect against minor bumps/falls but not major bumps/falls (though it will provide some cushioning). It does protect from abrasions but not severe impacts. we were satisfied. Past Review: Will have to let you know likes later but it fits my Dad's head comfortably and is much better looking than the bulky one given by the Rehab. He uses it to protect his head from further injury since Craniotomy removed a piece of bone from his head. Stay tuned!

This is perfect for my college rugby games. It is a little stiff coming out of the package but after a few uses it loosens up and fits my head more comfortably.

The helmet was purchased for a person with epilepsy. It has worked out very well. Luckily we have not had to test its effectiveness. But the helmet is very light weight, easy to clean and fits well when sized according to the ordering instructions. The fact that the helmet is comfortable to wear is important because the user does not mind putting it on for extra protection. That has given everyone some peace of mind.

I have hearing aids and wear glasses. I found the helmet uncomfortable. I returned it and ordered a skateboard helmet. I’m trying to find something comfortable to protect my head if I fall. I’ve fallen three times and I’m sure I will fall again. I have Parkinson’s disease.
