Does exactly what it says it does and does it perfectly. Saved me a lot of money as I didn’t want to change out my expensive 5.1 system. I have hooked up an Xbox one x, PS4 pro, Nintendo switch and nivida shield all working as expected. One hdmi (sound) out to the 5.1 system and also optical and the other hdmi (image) to the tv. The nvidia shield was the reason for buying this as it only outputs sound via hdmi. The upside was I got to get rid of all the optical cables. The auto option works great switching whatever hdmi is being used. Full scale 4K hdr and Dolby vision works as well. A truly great hdmi matrix at an amazing price.

I recently bought a 4k projector and Amazon fire 4k cube. My av setup is seperates and very good quality but can not deal with 4k. Used this box to split the 4k to the projector and the hdmi audio to the amp. Sound quality is really good, so the audio extractor works well to hdmi. Picture quality initially suffered drop outs over a 10m cable, but read in the manual this unit was only tested on cables of 1.5m, so bought an hdmi repeater/amplifier for around £20 which has solved the problem. 4k is clear and seems to workd

Genuinely worthy of an in depth review. My original issue; 75" Hisense TV (5/6 years old) didn't support ATMOS or pretty much many Hi Res audio formats asking with some 4K or Hi Res video formats from connected USB media storage I needed consistency... Using LG SN7Y sound bar coupled WITH LG SPK8 rear speakers Also Zidoo 9X media player (outstanding piece of kit) All of my HD I sources connect into the XOLORspace, Virgin Box, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Zidoo XOLORspace then connects into HDMI IN on soundbar which then connects to TV Additionally - and this is key - the XOLORspace splits the audio from ALL inputs and feeds them on a separate feed into the sound bar (mitigating any lack of audio support from the TV) Works flawlessly, full ATMOS, DTS, Dolby Audio etc from all sources where supported Where not supported, for example directly from the TV - I connect the TV directly into the sound bar with optical and change audio input as required In summary, between this (XOLORspace) and the Zidoo, it saved me either purchasing a new TV or a full HDMI audio/video receiver I've been impressed Hope this helps someone Take care

Picture quality doesn’t drop at all through this device even when watching UHD programs. The only issue I have had is with pass through if you switch say a Sky box doesn’t then switch on the tv. A small inconvenience.

I was looking for a switch to split the audio and video signal which supported as much as possible so I didn't lose any features. This appeared to tick all the boxes and came at a great price. The issue was that the sound randomly cut out because of handshake issues. I tried a replacement but no good. In the end I bought a HDFury Maestro and I've never looked back... fantasic product! Sorry but I cannot recommend this.

Recently purchased a 4k UHD Blu Ray player without thinking that my receiver was not 4K compatible. This product does the job perfectly It has 2 outputs with one dedicated to audio only. I now can have my UHD player connected to a HDMI port on my 4K TV and use the dedicated audio out to connect to my receiver. Works perfectly. Highly recommended if you have an older receiver and a 4K blu ray player

The switch works great. I hooked up a Xbox One X, Playstation Pro, Apple TV and Nintendo Switch to it and connected it to my 4K projector and in parallel with the second HDMI to a soundbar. Everythings works flawless.

Gave me both 4K picture to my projector and audio DD 5.1 to the receiver straight out of the box.

Warum? Nun ja, es gibt sicherlich einige Leute, die Probleme mit dem HDMI-Board ihres Onkyo AV-Receivers haben. Meiner ist ca. 4 Jahre alt und die Nutzung mehrerer Eingänge ist für 4K schon seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr möglich (permanente Bildaussetzer und Bildfehler). Ich bin sogar der Meinung das die Probleme nach reichlich 2 Jahren erstmals aufgetreten sind. Ein Schelm, der Böses dabei denkt. HDR-fähig war der Receiver sowieso noch nicht und so spielte ich die letzten Monate permanent mit dem Gedanken mir einen neuen AVR zuzulegen. Nach langer Recherge wäre es wieder ein Onkyo geworden, da dieser als einziger alle Anforderungen erfüllt. Aber nochmal sowas? Auch wenn das sicher nicht sehr im Konsumtrend liegt, mache ich mir doch öfter Gedanken über die Einflüsse auf unsere Umwelt. Daher habe ich damit auch ein großes Problem, wenn ich geplant kurzlebigen Elektronikschrott der "verantwortungsbewusten Hersteller" nach so kurzer Zeit entsorge und durch neuen ersetze. Nun soll es hier aber nicht um die Bewertung eines Onkyo AVR, sondern um den XOLORspace HDMI Switch gehen. Nach Tests mit mehreren anderen Geräten hatte ich das Vorhaben zum Umgehen der HDMI-Steuerung des AVR eigentlich schon aufgegeben. Entweder gar kein Bild, Bildaussetzer oder kpl. ohne Funktion. Um den Ton in bester Qualität in den AVR zu bekommen, habe ich auch einen HDFury AVR Auskoppler versucht (ein teurer Spaß) und natürlich ohne Erfolg. Und jetzt dieser HDMI Switch. Der Beschreibung konnte ich erst gar nicht recht glauben: - 18 Gbps - HDR fähig - Audio Durchschleifung auf einen separaten HDMI-Ausgang Das kann nicht funktionieren... Doch, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. An dem Switch hängen jetzt ein 4K Satellitenreceiver, ein Panasonic UHD-BD-Player und eine PS4 Pro. Der TV schaltet automatisch auf 4K HDR. Der AVR erhält ein HDMI-Audio signal bis Dolby Atmos. Die Eingänge werden automatisch geschalten (immer letztes oder aktives Eingangssignal). Und dazu sieht der Switch noch richtig gut aus. Eben mal nicht das übliche langweilige schwarz. Eigentlich sollte er auf dem Schrank stehen bleiben. Da das automatische Umschalten aber so gut funktioniert, ist er doch wieder im Schrank verschwunden (schade eigentlich). Wenn ich mir überlege, was die Alternativen gekostet hätten und alles nicht konnten, ist dieser Switch eigentlich schon fast zu preiswert. Ich bin total begeistert! Jetzt fliegt der AVR erst raus, wenn kein Ton mehr kommt!

Probrado con salida a 4k con HDR y diferentes configuraciones de profundidad de color y todo correcto, me permite mantener mi receptor pioneer elite con hdmi 1.4 y un reproductor 4k sin problemas, en sonido saco todo lo que el receptor admite (dts-hd, dd-plus, TrueHD, ...)

Fa quello che deve in modo egregio. Consigliato se si devono maneggiare diversi ingressi/uscite

The switch works very well but unless the cables are excellent you may end up with audio dropouts. I used Supra HDMI cables to begin with but I got a lot of dropouts so I replaced the Supra cables with 8K 48 GHz cables for both video and audio. This made the audio problems disappear. Also the remote isn't very good even if it works without any problems. I use a Logitech Harmony Companion instead.

Avec l'arrivée de la 4K la norme HDMI 2 est devenu obligatoire. Malheureusement si comme moi vous avez un ampli qui date un peu ce dernier ne gère certainement pas cette norme. Ces derniers temps je cherchais une solution pour pouvoir utiliser mes consoles 4K avec le son en HDMI et hormis l'achat d'un nouvel ampli, soit 300€, je ne trouvais rien. Et là je suis tombé par hasard sur ce boitier et la révolution a eu lieu. Ce boitier est génial. J'ai branché mes sources 4K en entrée, la sortie vidéo sur ma TV et la sortie son HDMI sur mon ampli. Le boitier en mode PASS et j'ai enfin une image et un son au top. Je bénéficie à nouveau du Dolby True HD et du DTS HD sur mes films et le son des jeux est beaucoup plus profond qu'avec la sortie SP-Dif de la console. Donc si vous avez un ampli qui ne gère pas le HDMI 2 et que vous ne voulez pas le changer cet appareil est l'adaptateur parfait.
