This Sente Defense C serum has continued to keep my skin bright and glowy. I've already been using vitamin c serums to help combat acne pigmentation, sun spots, texture etc and was already working with semi stable skin, and using this serum has continued to help fade and prevent new marks, so I know it's working and a solid formula. Don't let the initial appearance of the formula scare you, I did have to shake this a few times because it was separated at first. it's actually a silky, lightweight serum that absorbs fast, isn't oily, non-sticky, doesn't leave a film or residue and best of all, UNSCENTED. I was afraid this orangey cream would smell awful like many vitamin C serums, nope this one barely has a scent. There are silicones in this, so it may or may not cause pilling issues depending on other skincare/makeup applied on top. Yes it's pricey, but from a legitimate clinical skincare brand, this Sente formula is beautiful and one of the best vitamin c serums/products I've tried.

I regularly use the Senté Bio-Complete Serum and Dermal Repair Cream, particularly when my skin feels extra-sensitive or reactive, so I was really excited to try their version of vitamin C. I love what vitamin C does for my skin tone and texture, but find a lot of serums irritating during the winter when my skin is drier and the wind exposure makes it angry. This one is as gentle and non-irritating as the other Senté skincare I've tried. It has more of a creamy-serum texture than a gel-like or watery texture, and it is not oily. It does come out with a slight color to it, but it does not show up on my skin once spread out. I do wait a full minute or two after application for a full absorb/dry before applying the next step, and have no issues with tackiness or pilling; this works really well under my SPF and makeup. It has no added fragrance, and even on drier, somewhat irritated, windburned skin, NO stinging! My skin looks bright and smooth, and this really seems to help with redness. I'm glad I found this and feel like I no longer have to discontinue using vitamin C any time my skin feels a little irritated by environmental factors.
