Superb book to learn about special theory of relativity starting from its core origin through the histories of experiments. Each chapter has some thought provoking exercises which is like adding a heavenly taste to your meal. Finally I would recommend this book to everyone who is beginning special relativity.

The best book on Special Relativity yet!
Resnick is a well renowned by his Physics book volumes in collaboration with Halliday. This book is specifically for understanding special relativity in depth and its extension to general relativity.Get this one only if you want a thorough gist of the concept and not only for problem solving purpose.

Good material but bad quality.
The book is really good. Since I am a starter anyways, the concepts have been well explained and easy to grasp. Paper quality is pretty low and they are bent. The condition of the book is not that good. Content is really good. 5 stars for the material but 3 for the condition.

Overpriced but good book.
The book is overpriced in terms of paper quality.Printing is visible on the other side of the page.Book has 4 chapters. 3 appendicesNicely packed item.Timely deliveryThe MRP is 509 whereas i paid 519 excluding delivery charges. The lowest price available on Amazon is 495 free delivery.Too detailed if preparing for enterance exams. Can be used for university exams.Sufficient Numericals for the subject.Far more than sufficient for exams like JAM JEST TIFR. Solve only if you have finished all the syllabus and have a lot of time left for exams.
