I was hesitant at first, given I only ever bought cheap, dollar store brushes for my hair, but the price was better than any similar quality brush and after reading the many glowing reviews decided to give it a chance. Long story short, I cannot overstate how glad I am that I did. The brush manages to glide through my fine, tangle-prone hair with zero resistance and instantly adds a shine and smooth, touchable texture to my hair and given my scalp is extremely oily, managed to fix that as well. Anyone and everyone who cares about their hair needs this brush. Chosin really showed the rest of the boar bristle brush manufacturers how it is done. This brush's quality is indistinguishable from similar brushes at twice or three times the price and the scalp massage I get keeps me brushing and my incredibly troublesome hair has NEVER looked this good! A bit of advice for new adopters to boar bristle brushes--use the cleaning tool in tandem with a simple comb to get rid of the junk that accumulates on the brush and like the instructions say, soak the bristles in warm water but I go one step further and add about a tablespoon of baking soda to the water in a small plastic container and perch the brush bristle-down on it and let it soak for ten minutes then use the cleaning tool one more time and it will be as clean as when I first got it. I cannot say good enough things about this brush and I have already recommended this to many of my friends who have bought this brush as well and they agree this is one of the best brushes available, ESPECIALLY for the price. Everything came as advertised, all the way down to the detangling brush, cotton travel bag, and the brush itself. The boar hairs really did look and feel like plastic, so I was a bit concerned, but as you can see from the pictures I used their testing methods (cutting off a few hairs and lighting them on fire), and it turned to dust. So the BOAR HAIRS ARE REAL. I’ve used the brush when my hair was wet and dry, and it’s worked wonderfully both times. I have thick hair, but I’m able to feel the nylon pins against my head, while the shorter boar hairs brush my hair as well. It’s a really nice combo, and feels great for me. I’m very happy with this brush and have no complaints!

I have almost waist length thick wavy hair. I usually use a wide tooth comb to get out tangles, but occasionally I like to use a brush. I wanted a natural boar bristle brush for distribution of natural oils down through my long hair. Sometimes I pair it with a little nourishing oil- put a few drops on the brush, then run it through my hair. I keep it at my bed side as this is more apt to be part of my nightly self care routine than any other time of day. Good brush, fair price, no complaints. PS- usually I can't stand the feel of some wooden handles, but this is smooth and doesn't squick me out.

This brush is not only beautifully designed, with its wooden frame and handle, but is also ideal for my hair - the bristles comprise long, plastic bristles, combined with shorter, finer bristles, leaving frizzy hair beautiful and silky smooth after each brush. It also allows me to brush gently through any tangles and adds volume to my fine, frizzy hair (without causing my hair to have a ''grassy'' look, such as is the case with most other brushes). I highly recommend this brush to anyone with long, especially frizzy/fine, hair.

This is a nice brush with wood handle that feels/looks good quality. It brushes well. I have very thick hair which causes most boar-bristle brushes to glide right off the hair and I have to use two hands to dig the brush into the hair and then brush. But this one I can use one-handed and it still grips well. Like most brushes of this kind, it is a bit difficult to remove the dandruffy stuff that gets stuck on the black cushion part of the brush although that is just reality and I wouldn't take a star off for that. My main issue with the brush may not be an issue with some people but I feel it is too heavy for heavy use. I attempted to brush my hair 100 times and found I tired out after about 40 strokes. Maybe I am just weak... Btw, the little mascara brush, I mean cleaning brush, is pretty flimsy. When I tried to use it to clean, it just bent and the brush wasn't much cleaner. One might be better off buying a separate mascara brush/wand if that's what you want to use to clean the brush. I saw a 100pc disposable package for ~$6. They look about as flimsy but at least more sanitary since you don't have to clean them and can just throw them away.

Wow! This brush is superior to all that I have had before, almost like I never had a brush! I have a thick curly hair, with soft curls. Always look out for good hair brushes, combs and products. This is the first brush that I’m really impressed with—sturdy in your hand, soft on the hair and scalp, and yet, giving such a gentle massage of the scalp and effortlessly untangling every knot. And no shading of brush or hair! Just amazing product, high quality and all that I can wish for in a hair brush.

I have long thick straight hair that breaks easy because each hair is fine or considered thin. I love this bristle brush because it’s gentle with each strand of hair while working out the knots and brushing the oils from the roots to the ends. It’s a wonderful brush that feels sturdy and well made. It’s a great price to receive an item that works well for my hair type. I’ve used it a few days now and I made sure to take a few pictures so others can have visuals.

This is my wife's brush. She has very thick hair and she loves it. Very sturdy construction, it has long plastic bristles and shorter boars hairs bristals which allow the brush to move better through tangled hair. I have a boar bristles brush with just boar bristles and it is useless for my wife's hair (well it will smooth out the static electricity on the surface, but the brush bristles are too dense to penetrate her dense hair. Overall this is a very good brush for people with dense and long hair.
