Digital Alarm Clock

I’m 65, and don’t really get along with technology. But this clock is perfect for seniors. I plugged the clock in and it knew the date, time and everything, ease of use is great . I dims itself at 9:01 Pm and brightens at 7:00Am. It’s as basic functionally to operate as any clock gets. I set the alarm for 6:00am, it beeps and I press any button on the back to turn off the alarm (not the snooze button). I don’t have to mess with it after that. It’s automatically set for the next day. The display size is large. The value for the money is great, too. I put in batteries in so if the power goes off, it will save the information. Not sure about the battery life yet since I haven’t owned it for very long. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANY SENIOR TO BUY THIS CLOCK!

For the past 20 or a thousand (I've lost count) years when I needed to know the time I relied on the cable box. It always stood at the ready giving me the correct time. It somehow magicalky seemed to know the exact moment we turned our clocks forward or back. It was a flawless system. I hadn't quite considered that when we "cut the cord" getting rid of cable a few weeks ago. All of a sudden I didn't have a reliable system for knowing what time it was. So I searched here on Amazon . The first clock I found just couldn't connect to the atomic clock at all so back it went and I bought this one instead. Perfection right out of the box. I plugged it in and it was instantly accurate. The only input it needed from me was whether I wanted it to adjust for daylight savings time (I did). The size is perfect for me. I can see it from anywhere in the room. You can set the brightness level manually. The clock also gives you the day, date, temperature, relative humidity and phases of the moon. I need to be closer to the clock to see those settings but that really doesn't matter to me. Your eyes might be better than mine. I LOVE knowing moon phases and didn't realize this clock had this setting when I bought it . I consider that a major bonus. BOTTOM LINE: great, no nonsense clock. Sets up instantly. Clear and easy to see from across the room and has other useful info along with the time, including moon phases.

You plug it in and it sets itself! So easy to set alarm time, the brightness of the back light and volume of alarm. My other atomic clocks require much more work and sometimes do not automatically reset the time twice a year as they are supposed to. I am very impressed with this clock. It is just the right size and looks great on my night stand.

I would have given this clock a 5 star rating except for a couple of admittedly very small cons. First, the temperature is consistently 2 degrees F high. I contacted the company to ask if there was a calibration process to adjust the temp but they said no. Not a major problem as long as you know the actual temp is 2 degrees F lower. You really can't expect much better accuracy in a $25 clock. The other con is definately a very personal preference and that is the volume of the alarm. Most people want LOUD - not me. I keep the clock a couple of feet away from my head on a nightstand and I prefer a VERY GENTLE alarm. This one is high pitched and (to me) shrill. It gets louder and more "insistent", i.e. FASTER if you don't turn it off or snooze it in a few seconds. I'm sure for 90% of people this is a major PRO. I'm just mentioning it for information purposes. Having said all of that, if you are still reading this, this is an EXCELLENT clock. I have the orange characters on the face and it is PERFECTLY sharp and clear. The orange does not blast you out of a dark room even if turned up fairly high - there are several brightness setting and an AUTO dim. This has the sharpest display I have ever seen on any electronic clock. Other features like a battery backup that keeps all the setting in a power failure are great - no need to reset everything. The display darkens on a power failure, but you can hit the snooze bar and get a lighted full display for a few seconds - great feature. Auto daylight savings time feature with indicator is also nice. Day of the week, month and day as well as alarm set time are always on display - alarm "armed" indicator comes on when you turn on the alarm. Bottom line- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. UPDATE: 4/28/2026 I bought this clock on Dec 1, 2023 and have been totally happy with it except for ONE issue. The temperature reading is now 5° F too high. When I purchased it, the temp was only off 3° F, but it seems to be drifting up. Otherwise this is a perfect alarm clock. I contacted the seller when I first bought the clock and inquired if I could calibrate the temp. and was told - no it can't be adjusted and they thought a few degrees wasn't important enough to send me a new one.. If not for the worthless temp reading, it would be a perfect clock as I outlined in my original review. Everything else works perfectly. If you think a bad temp reading will bother you, look elsewhere.

This clock is excellent and works very well. I like the features like correct time, day, date, humidity, alarm, snooze, multiple lighting options, easy to operate and it adjusts the time automatically when daylight savings time changes. The price is reasonable. Definitely worth buying.

Clock is just as pictured. Easy to set. Love the size of the numbers. Easy to read. Good value for money.

It does everything, Time, date, day of week, moon phase, indoor temp and humidity. Even sets itself and daylight savings change. It's really cool. Looks good too.

I have no idea how this works. You just plug it up and it sets everything immediately without me doing anything. Resets itself when the time changes, keeps perfect room temperature, and has different brightness to choose from. Very nice clock!

Je ne l'ai pas acheté comme réveil mais comme horloge dans mon cinéma maison pour remplacer les appareils qui n'ont même plus d'affichage de l'heure - comme avec les magnétoscopes, récepteurs de télé numérique, etc. Je voulais un appareil que je n'aurais pas à ajuster après une panne électrique.
