Ironwood Gourmet Square Cutting Board, Acacia Wood 0.5 x 9 x 9 inches

I ordered this cutting board in October of 2019, and it is now March 2020. This remains my favorite cutting board! I remember I did an absurd amount of research on cutting boards before purchasing this one. I wanted a cutting board with very specific dimensions - large cutting boards discourage me from using them (because of the cleanup), while boards that are too small become impractical if you're cutting anything of decent quantity. We have a plastic cutting board that was the perfect size for what I like, but I wanted a wood substitute, due to how I read plastics can harbor more bacteria and that wood is actually the most hygienic (which surprised me!). After searching far too long, I finally found this cutting board that ticked all my boxes! Perfect size, perfect material. Importantly, it was also a decent thickness, as otherwise I didn't want to be too concerned with warping. As an additional bonus, I found the wood and style of this cutting board gorgeously beautiful! When it arrived, it was just as lovely as it appeared online! I felt less ludicrous about all the research I did on cutting boards, haha. I adore using this cutting board because of how gorgeous it is, and its size makes it very easy to pick up and use - whether for something small like a few cloves of garlic, or something larger like a few carrots or cucumbers. It is perfect for my needs! It is also as gorgeous now as it was when it arrived! It does have knife scratches on it - what wooden board doesn't have these? - but it doesn't take away from the beautiful board, in my opinion. They aren't overly noticeable to me, and if anything, to me they signify how well-used and loved this cutting board is. :) I have never liked a cutting board as much as this one, and unlike some other wooden cutting boards I might have had in the past, this one encouraged me to take care of it! I dry it with a cloth after I've washed it, then place it vertically on a drying rack. It's remained beautiful and flat with very simple care! We've only applied mineral oil to it once, and probably should do so again soon - but it's held up wonderfully in the meantime. It seems very well-made and resilient, and I think it is an excellent buy, especially at this price point! Thank you Ironwood Gourmet for making such an amazing product, and making my time in the kitchen even more enjoyable! :D

Perfect little side cutting board. Sometimes I don't want to use my giant cutting board for just an apple, so this has come in handy. So far it's working well and I'm very pleased.

Amazon won't let me review the sizes separately. Acacia Wood 0.5 x 9 x 9 inches - For the price, it's an okay little cutting board. But after just a few uses, it's already showing knife marks. There are better small cutting boards(Teakhaus), but they are also 3x the price. Sandwich Board Set - Pay close attentions to what these are. These are very small. I would consider these more a cute serving boards, not for meal prep.

It's a very beautiful chopping board. I like the rivet, so I can hang it up. I am giving it a 4-star rating because I have not used it yet.

Perfect size for under my Ninja blender to keep suction cups from attaching to counter!

Completely defective product. Stain from the cutting board rubbed off onto all food and other surfaces. Under no circumstance would I recommend ordering this product

Actually ordered this to make a cabinet door in a RV, had to tear out the panel hiding wiring I needed to get to & instead of replacing, I decided to leave it as a access panel, so this little cutting board was exactly the dimensions I needed & ordered it with some hinges & it's perfect! Looks good also, wood grain & color is a close match

It is the perfect size & shape for my small kitchen. Looks good on the counter while not in use & functions very well when in use. Sturdy, durable & easy to clean.

This expensive and high quality wooden chopping board arrived damaged because it was given no basic protective packaging. Such a shame.

Required some sanding on the rough surface and edges that got chipped off.. slightly disappointed..

Lovely wood and construction.

This is a lovely little board. I assembled it together with napkins and a little ornament and it made the perfect hostess gift. I was worried after reading reviews that it may be too thin. For my purposes it is perfect. Nice little gift that can be used for charcuterie or any number of things. I may have to order one for myself now.
