I’m really happy with this clothes steamer! It has a long cord, which makes it easy to move around and steam larger items without constantly switching outlets. It heats up quickly, is simple to use, and does a great job removing wrinkles. I found that spraying a wrinkle-release spray on my clothes before steaming helped smooth out stubborn wrinkles even faster. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to keep the steamer upright to prevent water from leaking. Also, because some hot water can occasionally splash onto your hands, I recommend wearing heat-resistant gloves for extra protection. Overall, this is a great steamer that works well and makes freshening up clothes quick and easy.

Let me start with a disclaimer: I am writing this review after only using the product once, but i will update if my experience changes after continued use. I bought this steamer as a gift for my wife who wanted something simple to use and portable. The materials used seem decent enough for the price, it's small (definitely portable), and there's really nothing to using it other than filling it up and turning it on, which is exactly what she was looking for. I tested it out on one of my work shirts (before/after in pictures) that was particularly wrinkly (left in washer too long before being hung on rack to dry). I filled the unit up to just below the max line and turned it on. After about 1-2 minutes the unit was boiling and steam was steadily flowing out of the nozzle (this is essentially the same thing as an electric kettle but forces the steam from the boiling water out 5 small holes in the nozzle). I SLOWLY worked from bottom to top of the shirt on the front, back, and sleeves. After applying steam to all sides for about 4-5 mins total, I had the wrinkles down to a level that would be deemed acceptable for work in the office. Keep in mind that this unit is quite small (which is what makes it so portable), but the tradeoff for this is it doesnt produce nearly as much steam as a floor unit and hence takes more passes to achieve the "wrinkle-free(ish)" look. If you're a big wig at a fortune 500 company, the results from this product certainly wont compare to a press from a dry cleaner (or even a decent ironing job from someone that knows what they're doing), but the results would be perfectly acceptable for normal office work or casual events. If you're looking for something to replace your iron that gets the job done just as well in half the time, then I'd recommend going with a larger floor unit steamer. However, if you're like my wife and are simply looking for something simple, affordable, and portable that gets the job done, I believe you'll be satisfied with this product for the price like we are. PROS: Price (very affordable at the time I purchased from amazon). Easy to use (just fill it up and turn it on). Portable (can easily fit in a carryon if desired). Does a good enough job for what I paid for it. CONS: MUST use while completely upright (will spill boiling water if tilted too far - potential safety concern). The unit is quite small so it takes longer than you might think it would to achieve desired results. Gets small amount of condensation/sputters which may temporarily cause wet spots on clothes (they dry up quickly, but it's something to be aware of for some fabrics that may have color-stay issues).

This handheld steamer is amazing! Super easy to use and it works great! I would definitely buy this convenient handheld steamer. It steamed my daughter's linen shorts and my satin top and within minutes it took out all the wrinkles

I needed this to steam some silk flower vines I need for decorations st an event. They arrived horribly wrinkled and wetting them down did not help. My old steamer got lost in a move so I bought this one. It worked fine for the silk flowers but I was disappointed it did not have any options. You pour water into the tank, plug it in and turn it on. The water boils and steam comes out of the holes in the spout. There is no ability to direct the steam, it just goes up. There is a lot of it, more than when I tried to use a steam iron to steam the silk flowers, but it only has the one speed of on and off. This item was labeled "Amazon Choice" and I usually trust that designation when I can't make up my mind. But in this case I don't know why it was given that designation. The only accessories were some brushes like oval fingernail brushes. I think these are for lifting nap on a napped fabric. There isn't any way to increase the steam for a hard wrinkle of direct it to a spot. I steamed my finger when I was trying to hold a flower in front of the nozzle so I got out my good oven gloves I use when I lift a hot heavy pot out of the oven. After three vines of flowers they were getting a little damp but I hadn't been burned again. When I took the nozzle off to add more water some water dripped from it onto my leg and it was hot, but not like the steam. I would not recommend this steamer and if I was buying it again I would look for one with a power shot feature and that you could tip down like an iron. This one works only in the verticle.

Works great!! One thing to note is there is no on and off switch. It’s just once the steamer is plugged in and has reached the right temperature, the steam begins coming out and when you want to be done steam you just unplug it. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and feels like it’s going to last. Overall very happy with this steamer and the simplicity of it!

I love this steamer. It heats up so fast and is easy to use. It will release the worst wrinkles in one swipe.

I was very impressed that Hilife Steamer sent me a new unit to replace the one which did not remove creases, as they said it was defective. Please disregard previous photos as the steamer is speedy, effective, yet removes creases very well. I did not know that the water was supposed to boil so hard as it was my first steamer. I redid my pillow case, the dress and some other items and am fully satisfied with this tiny powerhouse of a steamer. It was boiling, but did not burn the cloth when I touched the fabric directly. Nor did I get a burn when some water dropped out due to my inattention when I did not put it down to get another hanger. Which you should really do as it boils hard and fast. Yet I was able to steam a robe, 2 long dresses & a pillow case with one go. My beautiful cat loved the hot, pressed pillowcase, so she is in the photo. :-) It is super efficient to have this steamer on hand for those days I did not iron but need a certain top or pair of jeans. It is easy to fill and is hot to go in just over a minute. And compact for travel.

I wanted something quick, simple, and easy to use, especially for day to day touch ups or when I’m in a rush. I got this through the Amazon Vine Review Program and here are my honest and unbiased thoughts about it. The Product: This steamer comes as a compact handheld unit with a 240 ml water tank, a power cord that measures around 8.5 feet, and a small brush attachment that can be clipped onto the nozzle. The design is simple and functional, and I really liked the deep navy color since it looks a bit more stylish than the usual plain options. It is rated at 700 watts, which places it more in the lightweight portable category rather than heavy duty professional steamers. The water tank is transparent enough to see the level, and it includes a small measuring cup for filling. Just got the HiLIFE Steamer today and I couldn't wait to try it out. I've always preferred to steam the wrinkles out of my clothes rather than ironing (I HATE IRONING, sorry) and so I have a steamer on wheels, with a long hose, and all sorts of parts. It only comes out on special occasions when I need to look my best because it's a chore to set up, fill up and put away when done, that means I use it a handful of times a year. The HILIFE makes looking great a daily joy because it's so simple to use, compact, fast, lightweight and easy to put away. Minutes after opening the box I had to try it. Read the instructions carefully, fired it up and put it to work. The unit delivers a very powerful steam jet through its wide nozzle and took out the wrinkles easily and effortlessly. The powerful steam penetrated the fabric and relaxed the finish. The true test was if I could steam a crisp seam into the sleeves and collar, no problem at all! The HiLIFE performed just like my big machine with one major advantage. My floor machine will spit and gurgle after a few minutes use and I've been scalded on a few occasions. The design of the HiLife keep hands clear of the output steam and it never spat water on the fabric. The unit is comfortable to fill and use and is well insulated from the heat. Follow the instructions carefully as the unit must be used in the full upright position ONLY, as its designed. Don't try to use it at any angle or it will function as a kettle and pour out its contents. For those of you who like to take a travel steamer with you in your luggage, this would be the perfect travel accessory for all destinations with 110V electricity. If you like an easy, quick way to keep your clothes refreshed and pressed easily and simply, your going to love how simple this steamer is. Comes with two fabric bristle brushes for the nozzle and a measuring cup for easy filling without overfilling. Great little steamer, five stars easily! This is my second HiLIFE steamer as you can see. My first is a lavender option and this one is a warm grey model. I'm keeping in the box to give as a gift this Christmas, I know it will be appreciated for sure!
