Easy, Simple and Cute Handheld Steamer
I am writing to share how pleased I am with the Hilife Steamer. Since my husband retired, we stopped using our traditional ironing board, and I have been looking for a lightweight, handheld steamer for a long time. At 76 years old, I do not have a lot of strength, but this steamer is light, heats up quickly, and is very simple to use. It does an excellent job of removing wrinkles from our clothings. It will also be great to take with us when we travel. Additionally, I want to address Hilife's excellent customer service. When I had a minor issue during the first use, the customer service team responded quickly with helpful tips, and I have had no problems since. Great customer service is just as important as a good product.

Iron WHO?!
I absolutely love this steamer! It heats up quickly and does an amazing job removing wrinkles from clothes without having to pull out the ironing board. It's lightweight, easy to use, and the large water tank lets me steam several items before needing a refill. I use it all the time for work clothes, dresses, and outfits before trips, and it has saved me so much time. It also works great for quickly freshening up clothes that have been hanging in my closet. If you're looking for a portable steamer that works well and is easy to use, I highly recommend this one. It's become one of those household items I reach for all the time!

A Compact Reliable Steamer
I’ve been a longtime user of a traditional, full‑size steamer — the kind with a built‑in hanger rack that needed so much power it would blow a fuse if it wasn’t plugged into the right outlet. It worked well, but it was bulky, inconvenient, and definitely not travel‑friendly. Switching to this HiLIFE travel steamer has been such a game changer for me. I do miss the hanger function, but hanging my clothes on the shower rod works well. This steamer heats up quickly, produces a steady flow of steam, and smooths out wrinkles with ease. It’s simple, effective, and doesn’t take up much space at all. It would be fabulous for traveling, too — as long as you can get distilled water like the brand recommends. The compact size makes it easy to pack, and the performance is impressive for such a small device. This steamer does the job, works well, and is far more convenient than the oversized systems I used for years. A great buy for anyone who wants reliable steaming without the bulk.

Powerful, Convenient, and Easy-to-Use Clothing Steamer
The HiLIFE Steamer for Clothes is a great solution for quickly removing wrinkles without the hassle of setting up an ironing board. Its portable handheld design makes it easy to use at home, in the office, or while traveling. The 240ml water tank provides a good amount of steaming time, allowing you to refresh multiple garments before needing a refill. The steamer heats up quickly and produces consistent steam that works well on shirts, dresses, suits, curtains, and other fabrics. The compact size makes it easy to store and carry, while the lightweight design keeps it comfortable to use for longer periods. It is especially useful for last-minute touch-ups and keeping clothes looking neat while traveling. The build quality is impressive for the price, with simple controls and a user-friendly design. While it may not completely replace a traditional iron for heavy creases, it performs very well for everyday wrinkle removal and fabric care.

Delivers what it promise
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love this steamer! I recently bought the HiLIFE Steamer for Clothes and it has quickly become my go-to for looking sharp with minimal effort. From the moment I used it, the steam output felt powerful and consistent—great for getting stubborn wrinkles out fast. Strong penetrating steam: It smooths wrinkles really effectively, even on thicker or previously “hard to steam” fabric. Portable handheld design: It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, so I can quickly freshen up shirts, blouses, and casual clothing at home or in the office. Perfect for everyday use: It’s great for last-minute outfits and makes my clothes look pressed without the hassle of an iron. I also appreciate that this model is clearly meant for 120V, and it works reliably in my setup. Overall, this steamer delivers what it promises—fast wrinkle removal, strong steam, and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an easier way to keep clothes looking neat!

Does not have any options, just on and off. Disappointed
I needed this to steam some silk flower vines I need for decorations st an event. They arrived horribly wrinkled and wetting them down did not help. My old steamer got lost in a move so I bought this one. It worked fine for the silk flowers but I was disappointed it did not have any options. You pour water into the tank, plug it in and turn it on. The water boils and steam comes out of the holes in the spout. There is no ability to direct the steam, it just goes up. There is a lot of it, more than when I tried to use a steam iron to steam the silk flowers, but it only has the one speed of on and off. This item was labeled "Amazon Choice" and I usually trust that designation when I can't make up my mind. But in this case I don't know why it was given that designation. The only accessories were some brushes like oval fingernail brushes. I think these are for lifting nap on a napped fabric. There isn't any way to increase the steam for a hard wrinkle of direct it to a spot. I steamed my finger when I was trying to hold a flower in front of the nozzle so I got out my good oven gloves I use when I lift a hot heavy pot out of the oven. After three vines of flowers they were getting a little damp but I hadn't been burned again. When I took the nozzle off to add more water some water dripped from it onto my leg and it was hot, but not like the steam. I would not recommend this steamer and if I was buying it again I would look for one with a power shot feature and that you could tip down like an iron. This one works only in the verticle.

Worth the Money
I’m really happy with this clothes steamer! It has a long cord, which makes it easy to move around and steam larger items without constantly switching outlets. It heats up quickly, is simple to use, and does a great job removing wrinkles. I found that spraying a wrinkle-release spray on my clothes before steaming helped smooth out stubborn wrinkles even faster. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to keep the steamer upright to prevent water from leaking. Also, because some hot water can occasionally splash onto your hands, I recommend wearing heat-resistant gloves for extra protection. Overall, this is a great steamer that works well and makes freshening up clothes quick and easy.

Be Patient!
I feel that for the good price, it does its job. It does take a bit more time to steam well and you have to be careful bc the water spills out easily. I will say that I really like the design and how quickly it heats up.

Small yet effective
This is a small yet effective garment steamer. I had been using a much larger steamer that came with an integrated clothes stand. The steamer base had castors to roll it around and it had foot pedals to turn the device on and off. The clothes stand allowed for holding the garment while they were steamed using the wand on the end of a long hose. Quite an impressive unit with quirks, until it decided to stop working altogether. With such a large unit, it has lots of moving parts with plenty of things that can go wrong. I found myself thinking that a much smaller unit would be cheaper, easier to manage, and to store, yet still get the job done. One example is how the long hose on the bulky steamer, that attached the steamer wand to the base unit, would quickly pinch itself closed if the wand was moved too far or held at the wrong angle. This would cause the unit to stop working until the hose was unpinched and had time to come back to the right temperature. And the entire unit was bulky, cumbersome to move around and took a lot of room to store. Then along comes this little unit that does essentially the same thing, without the cumbersome size and wand hose that can get pinched. Just put in some water, turn it on, and get to steaming. Sure it doesn't come with an integrated clothes stand, but a simple hook with a clothes hanger does the job. Then when not in use, it stores away easily not taking up much space. This steamer is not only just as effective in a much more compact size, it is also priced much more competitively too. It does everything I need so I don't see myself needing to replace the much larger and bulkier steamer that is finicky to operate at best of times. This one is much more compact, has fewer moving parts to have to mess around with, and still gets the job done. It is therefore something I would recommend to others.

Works well but sputters water out instead of steam sometimes just like every other steamer I’ve used
Product: - HiLIFE Steamer for Clothes, Portable Handheld Garment Wrinkle Remover, 240ml Big Capacity, 700W, Strong Penetrating Steam, for Home, Office and Travel, ONLY FOR 120V, Baby Blue Pros: - I got this steamer for straightening out my curtains after taking them out from storage kept there after a wash and dry session. I use different curtains for winter/summer, so I needed to straighten them somehow after being folded up and put away. After hanging the curtains, I use the steamer; so far this has been working great. - The cord is decently long; it is about 8.5 ft. However, I still need an extension cord to reach the top of the curtains. For steaming clothes, this wouldn’t be an issue. - The reservoir holds about a cup of water. I am able to get my curtains straightened on one tank. - It doesn’t take long to heat up. Cons: - Sometimes water droplets are sputtered out instead of steam. It’s not really an issue as the droplets dry quick, but using it is not perfectly smooth. All of the steamers I’ve used have this drawback though, so I guess it’s normal (or I just haven’t used a good product yet).

New Review
I was very impressed that Hilife Steamer sent me a new unit to replace the one which did not remove creases, as they said it was defective. Please disregard previous photos as the steamer is speedy, effective, yet removes creases very well. I did not know that the water was supposed to boil so hard as it was my first steamer. I redid my pillow case, the dress and some other items and am fully satisfied with this tiny powerhouse of a steamer. It was boiling, but did not burn the cloth when I touched the fabric directly. Nor did I get a burn when some water dropped out due to my inattention when I did not put it down to get another hanger. Which you should really do as it boils hard and fast. Yet I was able to steam a robe, 2 long dresses & a pillow case with one go. My beautiful cat loved the hot, pressed pillowcase, so she is in the photo. :-) It is super efficient to have this steamer on hand for those days I did not iron but need a certain top or pair of jeans. It is easy to fill and is hot to go in just over a minute. And compact for travel.

Heats fast and gets the job done
I have used several steamers through the Vine program and this one does exactly what I expect from a basic handheld unit. It is a simple 700W portable steamer with a 240 ml tank and an 8.5 ft cord, and I appreciate that it focuses on straightforward performance instead of complicated controls. I only need one button to turn it on and off and that is all I really want for quick steaming sessions. It heats up quickly and produces a strong, steady output that penetrates fabric well. I mainly use this for my dress shirts and dress pants and it handles everyday wrinkles without any issue. I follow the user guide recommendation to use it upright to avoid dripping and I have never had any dripping problem at all as long as I keep it in that vertical position. I use the stand from my old, trusted steamer because having the proper stand makes a big difference. It lets me freely move around the garment and steam comfortably without worrying about the hanger sliding or the fabric collapsing. I do not have access to distilled or demineralized water so I am just using regular tap water. I know this means I need to do frequent proper maintenance to avoid mineral buildup. I already do this with my branded higher‑capacity steamer using a simple water and vinegar routine, so I will be doing the same here. I do not expect any issues as long as I keep up with that. The package includes a measuring cup and two fabric brush attachments. The brushes are handy for thicker materials and for lifting fibers while steaming. The 240 ml tank is a decent capacity for my needs. The long 8.5 ft cord is also very convenient because I am not stuck right beside the outlet. Overall verdict: This is a lightweight steamer that is easy to handle, easy to maintain, and very practical for regular use. It is not meant to replace a full iron for sharp creases, but for everyday wrinkle removal it works well. At $19.99 at the time of review, it is reasonably priced and delivers exactly what I need. Five stars without hesitation.

Cute little steamer
This is a review of the HiLIFE clothing steamer (in icy lavender). Full disclosure - although I own an iron and an ironing board, I rarely use them. Luckily, I work a job where casual clothing is acceptable. So I mostly look for fabrics that don't wrinkle much, and I just accept some wrinkles. If something is so wrinkly that it bothers me, I'll probably throw it back in the dryer rather than iron it. There are a few reasons I don't iron: -It's a pain to get the ironing board out and set up. I don't have space to keep it out permanently, so I need to find a spot near an outlet, unfold it without catching my fingers in it, etc. -I worry I might burn the clothes. -I'm simply not very good at it. Maybe because I worry of burning the clothes, so don't use high enough heat, but the clothes often don't look much better after I iron it. -I'm lazy, I've never used a garment steamer before, so when I saw this cute little one available to me for free through the Amazon Vine program (in exchange for an unbiased review), I decided it might be handy to have around, for those more formal occasions where I want my clothes to look a bit more presentable. Unfortunately, this steamer has sat in it's box for a few weeks, as trying it out seemed too much like ironing! I decided it was finally time to use it today, and here are my thoughts: Pros: -It's so cute. It's nice and small and portable. -It's easy to use. Fill it with water, plug it in, and turn it on. It takes a couple minutes to heat and then starts to boil (similar to an electric kettle). Then the steam starts to come out, and it's ready to use. Note that, as per the manual, using distilled water is recommended to prevent buildup. I happened to have some distilled water that's been sitting in my pantry for a few years, so this seemed a good chance to use it. If you don't have distilled water though, you can use regular water, and instructions are included on how to descale it, which is thoughtful. -Although obviously it heats up to work, it didn't get so hot that it felt dangerous. I felt perfectly safe using it without gloves. -It's great that you don't need to pull out an ironing board! Cons: -Although no ironing board is needed, you do need somewhere to hang the clothing item while you steam. I had trouble finding a good spot in my house to do that. I ended up using my bedroom doorknob, which wasn't ideal. -I tried steaming a couple t-shirts and they came out looking better than they did when I started, but not perfect. Honestly, that's probably on me and not taking enough time with them. I feel like it would take quite a while to do a good job, and likely it's easier to throw them in the dryer. These were fairly heavy shirts though. I think where this steamer would come in most handy would be with thinner, lighter fabrics that you don't want to risk burning with an iron and don't want to throw in the dryer. -Since you need to hold the steamer upright, I find that it makes my wrist a little sore. I probably wouldn't want to use it for a prolonged period. -I got a little water on the clothes while steaming, but that's no big deal. Overall, if you are someone who irons your socks, this isn't going to replace that, but it's handy to use for small wrinkles or delicate fabrics. It is small enough to be portable, if you wanted to take it with you when travelling for a wedding, for example. It's also very reasonably priced at the current list price of $25.99 Canadian, so I would definitely recommend.
