Such a beautiful wood flute
I would definitely purchase this again if it broke or something. I mean, I don't need two of them but I'd buy it for a gift for someone else. It's very nice quality and looks like it was hand carved. I don't know if it was, just saying it looks very nice. Not like some cheap, dried up piece of garbage you'd get from some sweatshop overseas.

Not Worth Your $
It's definitely not worth your money. I know it doesn't cost that much but it's not worth it. The sound is horrible. It does not sound good. I tried playing multiple songs with it and they all sound awful and off tune. I guess that's what you get for the price. The quality of it is not good although it is pretty And nice to look at The carvings on it are nice they could be nicer though. But it's definitely not easy to use and It's difficult to even get a nice sound coming from it. I'm going to attempt to return it. If you want it just to look at it then buy it. But if you're getting it to use and play then don't get it. Just my opinion though.

Beautiful, Sturdy, Great Sound
The picture in the item description don't do this justice! The details are beautiful. A little rough but it shows that it's hand carved don't remember if it said it was in description but it sure looks and feels like it is. Sound is smooth, not high pitch.

didn’t work
Did not get it to work as a flute did work as a single note whistle

I'm torn on this one. Good vs shoulder shrug.
I torn still if I like the product. It's made of white wood that's been stained. Not varnished or oiled. So I fear it'll turn the mouth redish after using. It's not smooth so that is cringe worthy. The white wood is soft so it cracks as it sits after being used. Especially at the mouth piece. I think of they would have used a selling product on it my feeling on everything would have increased. I do love the craftsmanship of it. Lil flowers hand carved on it. Lastly in their picture it looks like the bottom is enclosed and rounded while mine is sawed off and open with a hole on the bottom. And theirs looks to be small at the top and large at the bottom while mine is a straight piece of wood. I know I'm being picky but I buy instruments from around the world to show my grandkids what other cultures use and this flute I feel failed in helping me with that. I felt this was made in someone's garage and not from a tribe in another culture. It's great for beginners and to play on but not to educate about cultures.

carved flute
Lookong at some bad reviews; One complaint that it is rough on the inside, so take a wood file and gently smooth out the inside. Noticed one uploaded video; no need to blow so hard into the flute, the harder the blow, the higher the pitch and distorted pitch. Saw bad review it only produces 2 sounds; not true.I see wind instrument players playing a wooden flute as if it's a brass wind instrument, and it's not.Higher pitches in notes-lengthen the flute.Keys and tones are produced by the strength of wind entering, the position of mouth on the tip. There are no 2 wood carved flutes alike, wood flutes are not machine mass produced like brass instruments. You control the sound, strength and pressure of wind, tones, etc.Live the carving, plan on doing some peyote beading and add my own artistic look to it.Also keep in mind you get what you pay for in life. Want a more sounding flute, expect to pay starting at 100 for a hand carved Native American flute. Now onto the real issues of the flute; it is too short for a proper sound. The port holes are not lined up formal and drilled too lose to the end of flute which it bares a higher pitch sound. It is missing the underneath port hole.It has beautiful carved designs, which does not make up for the poor sounds.I will.most likely work a little on this flute cleaning up the inside to wear it is smooth, lengthening and drilling the pirt hole in bottom- used by my right thumb towards the front. Not expecting a miracle but something worthy of keeping a good tune and smooth sound.

Beautiful
My Sister cried, we couldn't be happier. My Sister is 44 and she has had the same recorder since grade school. Somehow she lost it last summer during a weekend backpacking hike up north. This ment the world to her. Thank you

Not all natural wood dipped into chemicals
I would not recommend this it has way too many chemicals on it.
