Dog shampoo should not have a scent. This stuff cleans my pups right up. The only down side is it’s watery and seems like I need to use more than normal.

LIFESAVER!!! It has been a 3 YEAR JOURNEY with my Max to try and find a shampoo that didn’t leave him dry, itchy, red or flaky. When I tell you my rescue poodle, Maltese mix is allergic to everything, he’s allergic to everything!!! I can’t even put coconut oil on him. I have a huge bucket of hypoallergenic, all natural, guaranteed to be gentle bottles of every single brand made. Last time I counted it was at 40 bottles that I can’t use. I even give him a Benadryl before any new product just in case. Well... last night I gave him a bath with this shampoo and this is the first time since we adopted him that he hasn’t scratched all over after a bath. His fur is soft .. no conditioner!! His skin is calm and I want to cry looking at him sleeping peacefully. I’ve spent $10k and been to every dermatologist, Holistic vet, regular vet and more. I wasn’t sure at first because this shampoo barely lathered and I had to use a lot to get him clean but it rinsed so well and ran around the house so happy. Max is my life and I’m beyond thrilled that I found this shampoo. We will continue doing all the other things to help his allergies but this shampoo is incredible!!

Ordered a while back to try for my pup who has dry skin. We typically use Dermabenss for her 'schanuzer bumps' but I wanted something gentler and more moisturizing for in between washes. I love that this product has a limited ingredient list and is non-scented. Consistency of product is thinner, but I did not experience issues with it lathering. It reminds me of when I use Cetaphil cleanser for my own face. My dog's fur is clean, but not particularly soft. She did not have any tangles when I combed her fur out, which is awesome. It washed away any dandruff, but didn't seem to take away any itching. Her skin does not look more moisturized, which is why I purchased the product. Our dog is mostly inside, aside from exercise/walks/etc. I'm not sure this shampoo would be as effective as a cleanser for an outside working/sporting/hunting dog. The price is good and I would recommend for puppies or dogs who need something hypoallergenic, but would not recommend for dogs who need frequent bathing.

Great bathing shampoo for my Xoloitzquintli, Mexican hairless dog. The shampoo is gentle on his skin and doesn't dry it out.

If you have dogs with sensitive skin this is a must have. My Shih tzu was always scratching, had dry skin and would chew on herself constantly (no fleas). Now she has silky soft hair and sleeps like a baby. Her skin has cleared up. The only down side is it seems to take a lot of shampoo to clean her since it does not suds up. But, I believe that is why it is so good. There is no sulfates that dries and irritates the skin. Your pup deserves the best so get it now.

I got this for my maltipoo, I was happy when it came but I was surprised at how thin it was. I have a 5lb dog and it's consistency isn't much more than water, it also doesn't lather as much as you might expect. I didn't harm my puppy and it isn't loaded with perfume. I don't like how thin it is, not only will I be going through this faster then I expected, but it's inconvenient having to get more shampoo when your dog is trying to escape. I won't be buying this again, it just won't work for my needs. I could work for someone with a different dog.

A little watery but you can work it into an okay lather. I use the conditioner with it. Not over perfumed and does not irritate my dog

Was very excited to try this product by Burt’s Bees on my new 10 month old French Bulldog. We got into the tub together and when I went to put some of the shampoo on her to lather her up, it was like pouring water over her body. The shampoo was so thin it was as if it had been watered down. Having hypoallergenic shampoo shouldn’t mean a wasteful product should be sold.

Well found out there was also conditioners for dogs when thinking I was buying shampoo.

Le shampoing ne mousse pas beaucoup mais il nettoie très bien le poils de mon chien et le laisse doux et vivifié. Il est très facile à rincer, ce qui diminue considérablement les risques de démangeaisons. Aussi, le shampoing est tellement doux que je n'hésite même pas à nettoyer les poils du visage de mon chien avec lui pcq je n'ai pas peur qu'une coulée de mousse pourrait faire chauffer les yeux de mon chien. C'est un excellent produit, et lorsque ma bouteille sera terminée, je vais en racheter, sans hésiter

Burt's Bees dog shampoo provides a great lather and gentle cleaning. It has no harsh chemicals or perfumes to irritate a dog's skin. Excellent to avoid itchy rashes or reactions caused by other products.
