Maui Jim Polarized Men's and Women's Peahi Wrap Sunglasses

This is my 2nd pair, bought first pair 10 years ago. Only reason I’m replacing is they were knocked off my head and then stepped on and mangled beyond repair.

Until I tried my first pair of Maui Jim's 5 years ago, I was a Ray-Ban girl, nothing but Ray Bans. When I was waiting for my daughter at an eye exam, I tried on this pair of Maui Jim's - and wow, amazement. Of course, the eye dr.'s wanted more money for them than I was willing to spend - so I put them back, and bought my first pair from Sunglass Hut. The quality of these glasses is amazing. I'm not sure how or why, but I truly see better with these sunglasses on then without. Everything is crisp and clear - and even if the sun is blazing, you can see clearly without glare. The other day I was driving during sunset - and had to look directly to where the sun was setting to see if another car was coming before crossing the road. My Maui Jim's were perched on top of my head, because I had just left my home. I couldn't see a thing except for bright light reflecting off the roadway, but the moment I put on my Maui Jim's - I could clearly see. The Peahi's are my favorite - they fit well, they retain their shape, and they look good on both my husband and myself. I swear he left his Ray Ban's at Home Depot on purpose so he could "borrow" my Peahi's. That's ok - I got my new pair from Amazon 2 days after I ordered them !

This is my second pair of Maui Jim Peahi Sunglasses and they are by far the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I had my first pair for 5 years and finally lost them overboard. Knowing there was no getting them back, I purchased a new pair that day. The HCL Bronze lenses block out the sun perfectly on a clear day, but allow enough light so that you don't need to take them off when driving through a long tunnel. I have a pair of Costa's with lenses specifically for the Water, and these do just as good a job blocking out glare and allowing me to see below the surface - plus I can see my Chartplotter / Fishfinder from any angle. If you're a boater, you know how difficult it is to find sunglasses which will offer all of this.

Perfect pair of sunglasses for a wider face

I kind of don't want to jump the gun for review as this is an early review, and my first pair, but my first impressions; I really like they way they fit, and the clarity so far. I also like how the end of the arms wraps behind ear more like you would see for eye glasses usually. The frame has a nice feel and also sits nice and comfy, and fits me much better then many others Ive tried. I'm hoping I can avoid scratching them and will last. Thank you

With less than a day of using/wearing these, I get it now. I was a bit hesitant on spending this kind of $ on a pair of sunglasses, but in short, I fully understand why it is worth it. The clarity, the feel, the materials used, and the best glare reducing shades I've ever owned. I have owned many, many shades. Oakleys, Ray-Ban, WileyX, Persol, etc, etc. These def put the other brands on trial. If you are hesitant on getting a pair of these, don't be. Just give'em a go and literally see the difference.

Top quality specs, 90 degree test worked perfect for polarization and fit is top notch. These are the kind of glasses where people want to touch, feel and look at because they actually look like what you paid for them. Not close to the most expensive but fit well and are similar to quality of Persol's - my other favorite brand. Case is standard brown zip up, arguable a bit big (glasses bounce around a bit). I do not like that Maui Jim, in the three years since I bought my last paid, still chooses the cheap zip up brown case for these expensive glasses and simply hope it fits. The case is generic and although protective, does not give you the feeling you spent money on a high end pair of sunglasses. Fix the cases Maui Jim - we are done waiting.

These Sunglasses are brilliant that fit really well and very stylish. I liked it so much that I bought a spare just in case. Than I bought another one with different lenses colour. I don't have any negative comments about these sunglasses. I have a pair of Oakley Hijinx. I believe are similar, but not as good with the quality and style compared to Maui Jim Peahi. Maui Jim lenses are different to other brands. These are polarized lenses, where you can see clearly. I have included photos of different Maui Jim Peahi as well as different Oakley Hijinx styles. Everyone has there own preference, so what is good for me isn't necessary good for someone else.

tengo mis dudas si es original el producto o no, ya que me lastima un poco la vista cuando las uso, cosa que con otras polarizadas que tengo no me pasa.
