can you redissolve them in the microwave?

They are some directions and videos on the HotSnapZ website regarding recharging using a microwave.  Unfortunately, Amazon does not allow us to post them to our listings her.  The microwave method involves more gradually heating water as the product is immersed and covered at surround by the water.  It is suggested that minimum 1 inch of water cover and surround the single HotSnapZ being reactivated.  Care has to be exercised as to not allow the product to be over-heated, reaching the boiling point, which can cause the product contents to boil and expand, causing a small hole and a mess.   It does work, we use the microwave on a regular basis to reactivate them here at HotSnapZ.  When using the microwave, it is better to under-microwave them and add small increments of time.  This is important since each microwave varies in size, wattage and efficiency.  The chemistry inside is reversible at water temperatures above 150F, so when using a microwave that strategy is to heat the water yet do not it allow it to boil.  Some users may experience concern over the clicker, but due to the round shape and that the clicker is quickly immersed in liquid, it does not present an issue with modern microwaves.(FYI...The ingredients inside are safe and nontoxic.  The two active ingredients being Water and Sodium Acetate salt)

How big are they? Will they fit into a glove?

they are 3-4 inches across. my wife has small hands and can fit one in her glove. you would not be able to work. but just being outside should be fine. they get really hot and may burn up next to your bare skin
