Kizik The Madrid Eco-Knit Slip-On Sneakers, Casual Trendy Shoes for Women and Men

First, these are really nice shoes. The material feels great. Lightweight but not flimsy and very solid fabric on the uppers and body of the shoe. Everything down to the insole and tongue feel great to the touch. The construction is top notch. No frayed stitching, no excessive glue, no blemishes at all. To top it all of, it looks good and of course it's super convenient to put on just by slipping into them. The rigid construction on the back allows you to slip your feet in quite easily as long as you're wearing socks. It's not a gimmick; it's an actually well thought out design. By all means, these are great shoes. The main question you have to ask yourself is whether these are $100 shoes. I have a pair of Dream Pairs Lightweight Fashion Sneakers Breathable Casual Walking Shoes which cost less than a quarter of the price of these Kiziks. The Dream Pairs admittedly are not constructed quite as nicely and materials are not as premium, but are these worth 4x more? That is a question up to your budget. Only time will tell if these hold up over time and show better durability than the Dream Pair, but would surely recommend these shoes if its within your budget. If not, then the Dream Pairs are a good compromise.

This is a nice pair of super lightweight sneakers. They would be perfect for the gym, if I ever go back, or going out on a summer evening. They will not be terribly durable but that is reflected in the price. Comfortable and attractive.

No dislike

I have given most of my other shoes away in favor of these Kizik shoes - I now have three pair. I was always having problems bending down to put shoes on and tie the laces - that is no longer a problem, as these shoes slip on and fit firmly for lots of walking! Kizik was the first to come out with “slip on” and they did it right, as the backs snap back up tightly. Lots of copy-cats out there - I’ll stick with Kiziks! Did I mention comfort? My most comfortable, supportive shoes, too.
