Ok, after my second and last child my entire existence was a mess. My hormones and hair really took a hit. Once the shedding started to happen my hair just felt so much less... lower in volume, density, everything. It felt that it hit that much harder this second time around. When I would pull my hair back I would notice that I could see much more of my scalp than I have ever been able to before. This was not something I was fond of, so I took to the internet to help a mama out! I came across this Lazartigue fuller hair densifying serum. Adding volume to thinning hair? Sounded just like what my postpartum seemingly now lifeless hair needed. Vegan formula and 92% of ingredients of natural origin, that too added to my move to try it. At first I was a little hesitant as I was afraid that adding the proposed 4-6 drops daily would really weigh my hair down and make it look like a greasy mess. If that was the case, it would be hard to determine what would be worse -- a greasy scalp or thinning hair. Definitely not a win-win. When I unboxed and tried this serum for the first time I was pleasantly surprised. The formula has a thinner consistency, but not watery. It absorbed quickly and did not leave an oily residue or weigh down my hair at the roots, which was a concern of mine going into this. The scent is herby and fresh, and very light -- not overpowering at all. It's been close to a month and it's honestly hard to tell if this is working or if I'm now getting to a better spot physically and hormonally. I have the baby hairs growing in, so I know that some things are getting better. I still see more scalp than previously, but I do feel that it is getting better. However, I do have to say that my scalp feels better. I feel that my scalp is more nourished and just feels like it's been pampered. This is one aspect that I can definitely say is 100% due to the regular serum treatment.

I have tried 7 products made by LaZarTigue and I absolutely love them all! There are 3 levels of products Repair, Nourish-Light, and Nourish-Light. I think my favorite is the Nourish because it really makes my dry, curly, blond hair. All of their products smell amazing and each one is quite unique and exotic. I am using all of their products because I really like to change-up what I use on my hair depending on what it needs. For instance on really frizzy hair days I love to use their masks. I love their shampoos too because there is a stronger shampoo and a more nourishing shampoo, so I can alternate the type of cleansing I do as well. I live at the coast so my hair gets a lot of exposure to salt air. I have to condition my hair daily or it gets really dry and frizzy. This product line has helped so much with the overall texture and smoothness along with making it silky soft and moisturized. NOURISH MASK When I really need to moisturize my hair I love to use their nourish mask. I use it in the shower and I massage it into my hair my scalp and it is fabulous. It has a base of Shea butter and all the ingredients are natural and very gentle on the hair. I tend to use this mask once every other week and then during the week I use their repair and nourish light conditioners. It has a lovely citrus-exotic scent that I adore. It is not too strong in scent, but leaves my hair with gentle scent that lasts throughout the day. REPAIR MASK I love their repair mask too. If I want really deep conditioning, but not to the extent of the nourish mask. I use this at alternating weeks from the nourish mask although sometimes I will use this twice a week. This also has a lovely scent and reminds me of vanilla-exotic. It also is not too strong in scent, but leaves my hair with a gentle scent that lasts throughout the day. REPAIR CONDITIONER This is such a great combination with the masks I’ve described above. I use this as my daily conditioner, but I alternate between this repair conditioner and the nourish-light. This has a lovely exotic scent that I totally crave! NOURISH-LIGHT CONDITIONER This is their lightest conditioner and I love using this when I don’t feel like I need a lot of conditioner. It also works great as a leave-in conditioner. The scent is spicey-exotic. NOURISH SHAMPOO Perfect for days when I need a gentle shampoo that doesn’t dry out my hair. It is kind of like a combination shampoo and conditioner, so it could be used alone if you don’t normally use conditioners. It has a bit of shea butter in it, so it is very gentle on the hair. It has an herbal-exotic scent that is very pleasant. NOURISH-LIGHT SHAMPOO This is a stronger shampoo that is still very gentle on the hair. I especially like this shampoo if I have been using any product with silicon (like Dimethicone). It will remove that build up of product, yet in a very gentle way. Again, I love the scent which is peppery-exotic. ——>>>> FULLER HAIR SERUM This is a totally unique hair serum that is non-greasy. The scent is fairly strong, but very pleasant to me. It reminds me of men’s cologne scent, but has an undertone of floral. It has the exotic flair like their other products. I like to use this product once a week and I have even used it as a spritz to make my hair smell amazing if I’m going out. Lazartigue product are made in Paris France and contain really good ingredients. I am specially happy with this product line because they don’t use any funky chemicals and no silicone (Dimethicone). I pretty much have gone completely Dimethicone/silicone free on all the hair products I use and that has made a considerable difference in the overall quality of my hair. I am so glad to find this product line and I think the price is very reasonable for the quality and effectiveness. I would rather spend a little more and get something that has really nice, fresh, natural ingredients. My hair is worth it!!!

Lazartigue Fuller Hair Densifying Serum. Really nice! Much better than expected! This serum soothes my dry scalp (itchy, flaky and dry scalp from dry weather, heater, hair coloring)! I was worried it might be oily and thus weigh down my hair or make my hair and hair line look oily but it doesn’t! I think b/c it appears water based. The clear serum has a moderate thickness, liquid/water-like serum consistency that absorbs quickly. Has a fresh pleasant scent. Likes: Vegan formula. Contains 92% naturally derived ingredients. Contains no sulfates and no silicone. Liquidy and Non-oily. Hydrates and nourishes neglected scalp. Soothes itchy dry areas instantly. Absorbs quickly. No noticeable residue felt. Hair feels lightweight and more voluminous when dried. Comes in a glass bottle and with a glass pipette . Glass pipette reaches directly onto the scalp so less serum gets on surrounding hair (which is great for less unintended use of product, less waste). Directions per box: Apply 4 to 6 drops each day to the entire scalp to dry or towel-dried hair. Massage product in. Its a little early for me to tell if the serum thickens my hair, but I feel that a more nourished scalp will also help my hair condition. Per the directions on the box, a 3 month application is recommended. Made in France. Like this premium scalp serum treatment that nourishes my scalp and doesn’t make hair line and hair look or feel oily!

This has a stronger fragrance. It's a little like a masculine sort of cologne; however, to me, this is essentially genderless. So, I'm kind of grooving on the overall scent. Now, I noticed that my hair looked fuller, but also considerably smoother. It ended up with a mirror-shine. Most likely this is because as I brushed my hair, the serum was move down through my strands. So, I really did notice a glassy shine and frizz-free look that I usually have to achieve with other products. I'm into it! I like that this is a clean-beauty product and that I can feel comfortable using it often. A really nice product! Highly recommended!

This Lazartigue hair (densifying) serum is a nice addition to your hair care routine. I’m middle aged and lately have noticed a little thinning (in the crown, my sides and nape). So, selecting this serum was a no brainer. Two things that I want to address at the start this review. 1. This is a pricey hair serum ($59 on Amazon). AND 2. Only time will tell how effective this product is. I am not so sure this 1.7oz bottle or one time use, is enough to determine if it “works.” This is a review simply based on short term use. This serum is a lightweight, clear liquid. It comes in a round glass jar with a pipette, that can be used to dispense the liquid. This product contains ingredients (i.e., Capixyl, red clover flower) that promote fuller/thicker hair. Simply add a few drops to the needed area. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or have a distinctive scent (light). This product is vegan and over 90% natural. In conclusion, I think you will definitely need to use this product over time to really determine its effectiveness.
