Came bent
It’s good but mine came bent and because it was the last one in stock I had to bend it myself. It’s still a little bent

Good fishing rod, bad shipping no protection
Really good fishing rod, sadly theyre shipped with 0 protection so it arrived damaged. I've recieved them with a box protected before I don't know why they don't anymore.

Disappointed
Big fan of Abu Garcia but I had two of these sent to me in which one never got delivered. The second one showed up wrapped in plastic. Not a box. Reel was damaged.

This was my first baitcaster If you are looking to get into baitcasting or want a reliable, budget friendly setup to add to your arsenal, the Abu Garcia Max X Combo is an absolute home run!!!!! I’ve put this setup through its paces, and it punches way above its price point. This medium heavy setup is incredibly versatile. It’s perfect for targeting everything from local smallmouth & largemouth bass to casting off the banks for trout or light saltwater angling make sure to rinse it well with fresh water afterwards! It handles soft plastics, crankbaits, & spinners beautifully.
