My face was really dry this winter and this really helped. Along with sunscreen, my face feels really soft and this coming from a face that was previously shedding a ton due to dryness. It feels like water and comes in a big amount. Only downside is that it smells a lot like banana when you first apply but the scent leaves almost immediately. It doesn’t really need much time to absorb so it is perfect when you’re in a rush and need skin hydration.

I was looking for some extra hydration in addition to my routine and this was a perfect fit. I found this little gem while researching Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moisturizer. This is more of a liquidy essence rather than an actual moisturizer like the latter. I decided to go with this one instead of Hadalabo because it was more economical for 500ml and is more versatile. This is thin like water in consistency, and smells like weird artificial bubblegum sake . The scent dissipates quickly though so that’s no big deal. The bottle is really large with a clumsy pump so I like to decant into one of those small amber bottles w/pump that you use for making your own skincare products (amber bottle not necessary, it’s just what I had on hand). I apply it with my fingers, consistency is watery. I let it soak in and voila, plump, moisturized skin. For a deeper moisturizing treatment, I do a mask. Using just a one ply gauze pad from my medicine cabinet, I cut eye and nose holes, saturate on a plate, lay down/relax and leave on my face for 15 minutes. The biggest difference I have seen is just how well my makeup glides on. And my face just glows. In the past I’ve used Stratera Liquid Gold, Ceremidin, Nivea (German version), embroylisee, Hope in a Jar, La Mer...Many more I liked them, and found near HG status in Liquid Gold (but that fishy smell when it dries...yuck). This is a great supplement to all of these. I’ve gotten away with using several layers of this as an alternative to using a regular lotion and it worked pretty well. The K M lotion is lighter feeling, absorbs fast, is more versatile and a far better value than any of the aforementioned. Some background: I’m almost 37,use retin A 3x + per week, dry , somewhat dehydrated, oily in the t zone. I also use a Clarisonic for occasional deep cleaning. Lately My routine has been: AM: Erin Laszlo Black Bar, BR P50, Eve Lom Time Retreat Essence, Vitamin CE serum, High M, Hadalabo Premium, then either Biore Watery Essence 50+++ Sunscreen or LRP oil free dry touch. PM: removing my makeup with a baby wipe, Erno Laszlo Black Bar, Arcona Triad Pads then retin a. P50 and Lacura Q10 or Bioderma Hydrable serum on “off” retin a days. Also, was trying out a powder at Sephora the other day and the SA said I had really nice “supple” skin (nobody had ever made a comment like that to me before about my usually dry/dull skin, never happens!). This stuff is truly magic, nothing more to say :)

This toner feels lightweight, refreshing, and very hydrating on the skin. It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky and leaves the skin soft and smooth. Great for daily skincare and works well under moisturizer or makeup. Excellent value for the size and quality.

After having used this for about a year now, I think it's time to share my thoughts. First off, the fact that it's lasted a year (and I still have about a third of the bottle left) speaks pretty well of it's longevity. For the price, it's definitely worth it. I use about 1-2 pumps morning and night. It's a light moisturizer, so I use it as a base or when I need something quick when getting ready. If I am feeling just slightly dry, this works perfect, however if I'm dealing with more intense dry skin, I need to opt for a cream. Usually, I'll layer this with another product. It is easy on the skin, and personally I like the slight alcoholic sake scent. It dissipates fairly quickly too. It can be a little sticky if you use too much, so I say 2 pumps at most. I usually rub it across my face, neck, and upper chest when I use 2 pumps, then just pat in the remainder on my hands. After drying, my face feels plump and moisturized. Overall, it is a very decent standby moisturizer with an extremely generous quantity that lasts a verrrry long time. If you're on the fence, I say it's worth a try. Especially if you just need light to medium moisture. My skin is dry in spots, slightly oily by the end of the day, for reference. I have fairly sensitive skin with only mild acne. This doesn't get rid of acne in my experience, but it doesn't make it worse either, which I think is pretty great. I typically use BHA products to actually get rid of the acne, so this does a good job of being minimal and just doing moisture only.

Shocked by results, just a couple days of post-shower use I see notable change in skin tone. I’m blonde and freckled, 40’s so forearms and tops of thighs have blotches and freckles from lifelong FL boating/pool sun burns. I’ve used 0.1% tretinoin and clinical grade vit c for years now, highly effective. Never impressed as with this. It smells a little like sake wine but not even enough to make me recoil. And no lingering scent, just perfect skin I don’t even need lotion for anymore (but still do) and that’s Dermab ceramide body. Works better than SKii. Can’t wait to see result of a whole month.

I really wanted to love this product. It's incredibly affordable and receives excellent reviews. However, it simply did not work on my face. The product does smell like sake (very briefly), but this dissipates in a matter of seconds. It has no smell by the time you apply it. The packaging is a bit off; the pump dispenser shoots a very runny liquid into your hands, so it can be difficult to apply it without the product running off your hands. This can be resolved by applying it to a cotton ball, if you want. When I applied it to my face, it never dried down. I waited up to an hour on one occasion, and my face was still sticky all over. It definitely made my skin brighter and plumper, like... immediately. Unfortunately, it also clogged my pores, and I had a definite increase in blackheads and closed comedones after a week of usage. On the plus side, it works great as a body lotion. I don't notice the stickiness at all. I'm re-purposing it as a body product, but I won't be repurchasing when this bottle is empty.

Wife says: this stuff is fantastic for older dry skin. Absorbs quickly, does not leave greasy sensations but skin does feel moisturized and plump. I keep this nearby to use for hands many times a day. There is a very slight fermented rice/Sake scent which is not great but seeing as how this product does not have an obnoxious perfume and works very well I overlook the smell 😀 😄 😊 🙂 ☺️ Husband has extremely dry coarse knuckles and hands, this is great for his hands. Will buy again!

Wow, this stuff is great. Large bottle. Good price. SUPER EFFECTIVE. Some solid ingredients, some odd. More on this later. I use it AM/PM as a hydrating toner/essence. After cleansing, I give the bottle a shake and dispense about a pump full into my cupped palm (it’s straight up liquid, but don’t be fooled by the consistency, this stuff packs a punch.) I tap my palms together And pat onto my face, I follow up with a facial oil (eve Hansen’s golden rose hip oil blend) and a light spf moisturizer for daytime (You’ll find you don’t really need additional moisture after this and a facial oil.) At night I’ll cleanse and then tone with this product, apply the rosehip oil and add moisturizer around my eyes and dry spots (I love Paula’s choice skin recovery hydrating treatment “mask” which is more like a super thick moisturizer.) I bought the Eve Hansen oil at the same time, so I feel inclined to give a shout-out to that product. The two products combined have given me a glow like no other... i have semi sensitive skin, and no irritation has occurred. I can’t believe how much this has affected my skin. I didn’t even get a hormonal breakout this month. My skin is bouncy, glowy... damn. Oh, two possible cons... the smell... meh. I’m not affected by it. It dissipates after drying... its mild. It’s like a light whiff of sake and bananas. Not bad at all. The other possible con is, this product does have.... placenta extract. Upon further research I found that the particular placenta used in this product is from a horse... this may turn many people off for many reasons. As I dug deeper into the depths of internet and all things placenta (which hasn’t been scientifically proven to have a drastic positive effect on skin cells- yet Is still found in many products,) I found that the placentas come from horses intended for consumption- which may sound strange and terrible, but that is not so strange in Japan. As someone who consumes meat and uses animal derived products, I found my peace with it, because if I were to be against that, I should be against many many things that I do. With all of that said- Would I recommend this product. Yes.

I love how it deeply hydrates, soothes, and smooths my skin, I am using it for prep step for makeup application and also for my daily skincare routine.

This product lasts a really long time, no matter how generously I use it. It helps my skin stay hydrated and I layer it under a moisturiser.

Es un producto excelente que aporta mucha humedad y luminosidad en la piel , es de textura ligera no es molesto el olor, no se absorbe de manera inmediata pero tampoco queda la piel pegajosa. El problema es el precio que hace dos meses costo $100.00 mas. Aunqeu dura mucha este bote pero decidi comprar otro por que Amazon ya hay productos que no vuelve a tener en disponibilidad.

El producto es realmente una esencia, se aplica después del tónico y antes del serum, por eso su consistencia líquida y ligera. Aporta un buen nivel de humedad, puede usarse antes del ácido hialurónico y juntos funcionan excelente. También puede usarse al final de la rutina de skincare y deja un acabado glowy muy padre. Por el precio es una muy buena opción.
