This thing works well, from cold to very hot!
This is a great little item. I bought it to see what changes there were in temperature on my morning walks and it showed me those changes pretty quickly. It's easy to read in low light, just hooked it to my belt loop with a carbiner and got going. Also used it to see how hot it gets in a parked car (very!) and though it hit over 140° F, no harm was done to the thermometer. For the money it's a useful, fun tool.

Easy to use
I got this for my husband to use in his yurt! It works great, but sometimes it's just blank. We've had it for roughly a year now and it's still working. The display is easy to read. The carabiner clip that comes with it makes it easy to hang in a tent!

Not Recommended for a variety of reasons
Very Disappointed. It took over 20 minutes to go from an outside temp of 84° to record the indoor temp of 76°. There’s no reset button to zero out min and max temps. Temp range on package: 32°F to 122°F! Way overpriced for a very poor thermometer. I’ll likely discard and look for a more versatile indoor/outdoor thermometer. Good luck!

Works both indoors and out
Works well, seems to be accurate. I’ve used it indoors and out with no problems. Only concern is that the battery access is on the bottom and is not sealed. It has gotten rained on a number of times with no problems. So it may not be a problem.
