Princess Mirror-Belle

This book contains three stories, each takes about 10 minutes for an adult to read aloud. The stories are great; Mirror-Belle is a real trouble maker although completely without malice and her escapades are really pretty funny. There are shades of Paddington but the stories are shorter and so more easily tolerated by little children. Mine are 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and will both sit through at least one full story.This is a great next step from picture books and comes as a great relief after the 1000th (est.) reading of Room on the Broom.

I am reliably informed by my daughter that this is an enjoyable book, so much so that she's read it twice in 2 weeks!
