Lian Li RS1200G 1200W ATX Power Supply w/USB Fan Hub - Black (RS1200G.BH)

I was having stability issues with my PC and suspected my PS may be too weak for my GPU. I saw this PS reviewed at Jayz2Cents and I liked the idea of the flexibility. Being able to rotate the plug means you can have a traditional PS with the cables out the back or a shift PS with the cables out the side. It may seem gimmicky until you try it yourself. I tried it both ways and decided to go with the shift configuration so the cables connect on the side. This makes cable management so much easier. I pull the side panel off my tower and there are all the connections easily viewable and accessible. The cable length is good and allows you to reach most anywhere without having to worry about crimps, this was done in a Corsair 4000D case. There are plenty of plugs and you have plenty of spots so you can easily spread the cables on the PS so the plugs are easily reachable. This PS is physically smaller than my older one, it fits better in my case regardless of which config it's in. Yet at the same time the plug layout is much cleaner and well spaced. This is done by moving the mobo plugs to a different side so it's separate from the rest of the plugs. I have been pushing my PC harder since I got this PS and it's been rock solid, I am thinking my old PS was going out or too weak and now I have plenty of power to keep me going and I have some future proofing for the next card or other upgrades. I would highly recommend this PS to anyone building a PC or needing to upgrade. The ability to go from traditional to shift with moving some screws and changing a place it wonderful. You even have covers for the the 24-pin mobo port you don't use when changing the configuration. It may seem like a gimmick, however I hope to see more creative thinking like this in the future from more manufactures.

Hello, Thank you for fast delivery. I cannot image that this PSU has USB FAN HUB and also 90 DEGREE AC. This is an awesome feature that i needed for my build. My previous psu does not work and this will be used for my new build. It comes with a rotational ac which is a nice feature depending where i am going to install and also the USB hub. I do not need to buy an extra USB hub as i always needed to have extra USB beacuse motherboard internal ports are enot enough and with this hub , i do have option to separate and use it like normal usb hub or i can connect on the psu as another internal hub. Awesome feature. This PSU is rated gold ,which is more than enough for my build . With awesome cables that comes with it, i do not need to order customs cable as these are eenough. I will give 5 star as LIAN LI is reputable company and i have used previous PSU from them as well as this RS1200W that i just got. Thank you LIAN LI for awesome product

It does what it says it does

The Lian Li RS1200G 1200W Rotational Shift Fully Modular ATX Power Supply is the latest addition to the collection of tech for my new PC build. While I'd have preferred the white color option (to match my build), the novel innovation of the rotatable AC inlet offers a level of versatility that I've never seen in any power supply before. As we add more and more components to our tech over time, a power supply such as this allows us to ramp up as our system needs grow. This is a real upgrade for me, and I'm pleased to be on the cutting edge with this amazing piece of tech. I can't wait to see what they come up with next! Highly recommended.

This is a beast of a power supply. I have the 1200W model, and I've seen 1000W people having trouble with it and saying the cords aren't great. However, the 1200W model's cords seem perfectly fine, and I haven't had any issues with the quality. I like that this lets you flip the power port around based on your case, but I feel like that's never really been a huge issue for me in the past. However, I love multifunction. It does help that this is Fully Modular and easy to get all the cords, along with add-on ports for other devices. The noise level is about average with what you'd expect of a power supply. This is something that will definitely be able to run anything you want to throw at it. I've started using Lian Li porducts awhile back and so far they have worked out great!

This is epic. Well more than enough power for my setup, even lets me run two GPU's at once without any issues. Great brand with a solid warranty. This one is interesting because you can mount it in different cases without having to worry about which side your plug goes to. Runs great, nice and quiet, doesn't add any heat to the build either. Really like the modular design, keeps the case clean and tidy.

While the product is somewhat innovative, its performance and user experience don’t justify the price. It’s about one-third more expensive than similar products, so I don’t recommend it.
