Useless at this point
This unit only had a power cord. There was no USB cord with it. Also, there was no CD for the drivers and I have not been able to find the right driver online to download. It is virtually useless at this point.

Excellent Multi function printer
I just bought a second one for my parent in laws. It is great for personal use. Exceptional quality, photo quality print on kodak photo paper, hey if noone even noticed it was printed. The copy feature is excellent and saves trips elsewhere. I homeschool my children so the copy feature is definitely an exceptional tool. It prints really fast and has built in memory so it isn't taxing your system to print (unlike lexmark in particular). The scanner works great, I've scanned documents, pictures, worksheets, and more. The ability to also do a color copy is really nice. While I've only used it a couple times its still nice to know its there. Setup is a breeze, the only glitch I had to do is delete the printer from device manager then install the software. Aligning is a snap, it prints the alignment sheets you put it on the scanner and it aligns itself. There isn't a more simple printer. Lexmark is cheaper but it doesn't have the memory buffer, is a system resource hog, and takes forever to print color (despite claims). I've never seen a canon that worked for any real length of time. Epson is okay but can't hold a candle to this plus constantly is running into bugs. Both HP and Lexmark make sturdy reliable printers and I've used both have been pleased. Lexmark's downfall is its time on printing and system resource usage. So this is your best bet for this price range. I've been happy and you will be as well.

Liked my old HP PSC 1315; sadly, this used one didn't work
I had used a HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Printer on several Macs for some years - and been generally pleased with it. Until a paper-clip leaped to its death, inside, and broke a crucial [small plastic] part, which caused the oldie-but-goodie to barf paper continuously. Not being able to find any new replacement (except one that was insanely/obscenely/arrogantly/wildly overpriced), I decided to take the risk or trying this used one (from a well-recommended seller). Once it arrived, I was never able to get it to work (which I knew was a possibility when I bought it). The seller was very apologetic and delightfully - contrary to the default/official policy requiring that I send it back (at still more expense) - was willing to let me trash it here, and still refund what I paid (excluding original shipping of course). Refund promptly credited to my credit-card. I certainly WOULD do biz with this seller again!

HP Ptrinter
The used printer which I bought through Amazon works to perfection. My only problem was to get it to work on my XP non-internet computer, because it did not accept the programming on the HP CD setup disk. I had to set it up on my old 486 which is also non-internet and it works fine there. My internet computer has the same printer on it and I was able to set it up with the same CD which failed on my other XP system. Most likely the setup system could have been downloaded off the internet if I had had an internet connection on the first computer.

Didn't last long.
Had way to many miles on it.

This is a work-horse printer. My own 1315 started ...
This is a work-horse printer. My own 1315 started having problems, and I was told it was probably a gear--it would print one page or a photo then it would chew the next page or photo. I don't know what caused this.. When I received the replacement 1315 All-in-One Printer, I immediately switched ink cartridges because I had just purchased new ones. I then tested the printer for its functions and it worked perfectly--just what I expected. You can't go wrong with a 1315 All-in-One Printer.
