8460 ECW GI Black Polar Fleece Beanie Skull Watch Cap

First off, this isn't an "Issue" ECW Fleece Hat. Second, it's still pretty good. It fits about halfway up my ear, which is fine because i listen to headphones quite a bit, and the material is your standard, run of the mill fleece. if your looking for an PT hat, i don't know if i would use this, it might not hold up to an everyday washing ( and if you dont wash you PT's everyday, your just plain nasty, or a barracks rat.)

I love the beanie cap! I had one issued to me in the military a couple years ago and it keep my noggin warm. This particular beanie was a little larger than what I am used to, But hopefully it will shrink to size once I wash it.

After reading other reviews on this cap, I think that I may have gotten a redesigned version. I wear a 7-5/8 hat, and this cap is no where near snug. A good wind could blow this off of my head with ease. I do like that it isn't too high. It pulls down to cover my ears, with no excess sticking up on top. The cap will keep your head and ears warm, but is a little too big.

Best quality Beanie that I have found. Much better than anything else that I have worn. Fits snug, completely covers ears and is easy to clean. Will be sending these as gifts next year. When I got the hat and was first surprised at how small it was. I have a small head (I wear a size 7 hat) so it was nice and snug. It's made of very soft, nice feeling material. I wore it once while camping and was literally amazed at how warm it kept me. It is big enough to fit down over my ears and still have a slight bit of empty space at the top of the hat. When I got home (after using it once) I noticed a small hole in the top seam! The stitching is so cheap one of the seams tore itself open. I am really disappointed because I really liked the hat. I would order another if the build quality wasn't so poor. I'm going to try to sew it back up myself and hope it doesn't look too bad.

Excellent quality product for limited exercise in cold weather. I would not recommend this for winter joggers/runners as this material doesn't dry very quickly, but for hunting, hiking or other activities it is perfect.

Nice hat, bought 5 for a group...one size fits all is a stretch...prob should have small, med., & large sizes. 7 1/4" too small to cover ears.
