What is the size for the kibble? Some say is too big for 5lb & under.

it is perfect--royal canin--has the kibble for the small dogs down -never had problems with the size being to big---get the 2.5 lb and you dog will love it

I would say that it is indeed good for your maltipoo. The food is the perfect size for my two Maltese who weigh about seven and twelve pounds and they love it. Yeah, my older girl has gotten chubby!! But, not because of the food.
