Nice book and easy to learn the basics of astrology

It is a good book for beginners. But there are a few misprints . The chapters are good but very brief to understand the concept in detail. Only one sample horoscope is used in the entire book that too in initial chapters so for every interpretation one has to go back to that horoscope which leads to disinterest. Overall ok read.

Very abtruse subject matter but a decent job at explaining the concepts via this book....it's an old publication so there are some typos (some which i thought were critical) so confused me....i had to make educated guess that there was a typo...

Worst page quality used even the print is not good but the information seems perfectly put

This book is a concise start for those interested in learning astrology. It starts with basics and sails without confusing you as other astrologers do in their books and youtube videos. A few part and interpretation is contaminated with western astrological ideas which I didn't like. The calculation and Nakshatra part needed more content than currently given to make it more clear. Also, the author needs to make it more user intuitive by keeping the sample birth chart well referenced at points where it has been used (a small indication of the page number of the chart image) would be great. I found it very confusing.

Excellent work! This book teaches the basics and intermediary subjects in Vedic astrology. Goes deeper than most books in important topics that people normally want to know.

Only just started reading. It is written clearly and I am enjoying reading this book.

The book has lot of information without background references. There are some good references to houses and grahas along with some examples. Too much information is attempted to be distilled which sometimes leaves the beginner confused. May be a book for more advanced learners.

Covers the basics in detail. Well written unlike some others. Basic guide to Hindu astrology.
