Perfect
So I bought this 2/3 weeks ago but didn’t use it until today! So it’s been sitting and I forgot about charging it so when I went to use it it was dead. But I said let’s give it 30 mins and when I came back it was ready! I used it for maybe 6 mins total making sure my smoothie was thick and icy enough. It came out amazinggg! . Personally the ice tray is not enough for me to I added a hand full of crushed ice and it did great! I have it at work and it’s on the quiet since I’ll say 4/10. Which is great cause most blenders are pretty loud. It’s super portable. It fits in my purse and you have the option to either charge it at a laptop on your desk or plug it in the wall.5 stars !! It also came squeaky, clean, no signs of use. UPDATE: this does not have great stand by charging - so if you charged it yesterday and use it today it will be dead!!! Which sucks but it’s still a great blender!

Small, But Mighty
If you'd like to mix a protein shake clump-free after your workout, get this! I use ice from the ice machine at work in this blender, which handles it just fine. It could probably handle dice-sized frozen fruit. Vegetables? Sure, but only if you froze blended vegetables in the ice tray that came with the blender (tiny ice). As feisty as this little blender is, thoughtful care is essential for it to serve you well. Small pieces of produce and generous helpings of liquid make for great results and longevity of service from the blender. I charge this every four or five uses; your need may differ. So easy to clean-fill about 10 ounces of water and a small squirt of dish soap. Run the blender to your sensibility, rinse, and the bottle is clean. Very happy with this-recommended. May ‘22 edit: I got this March of ‘18. It still works, but it’s reluctant with ice. I need to wait a few seconds for the blender to reset from its protest (6 from-the-freezer-dispenser crescent pieces) before trying another cycle. It now takes me four total attempts to get a nondairy milk and protein powder with ice smoothie. Though the blender needs some gentle encouragement, I still get the results I’m after. I can also just add less ice😏I need to recharge more frequently-every other day now instead of every 4 days. The container is still in great shape. Convenience and longevity have been well worth the expense. Still recommended!

Charge frequently
I bought this to make breakfast smoothies at work. I am not a morning person and I do not like to eat first thing in the AM. I also don't have time to make a smoothie before I walk out the door each morning. I bought this because it is small, portable, and convenient. I get to work, get settled and then I make my smoothie that I drink at my desk. It is very easy to use and blends very well. The blend lasts 15 seconds when you turn it on. I typically hit it two times to get a good blend because I add fruit and protein powder. I drink right out of the container and washing it is a breeze. I add a little soap and water and turn it on. I have not used the ice tray because I use fresh fruit from the fridge and cold almond milk. I use the funnel every day and it fits perfectly and keeps me from making a mess which I am good at doing. I bought a black one and it looks just like the picture. I have an S8 and my cell phone is taller than the cup for reference. The base is about half the size of my cellphone. My only complaint is that after a month of using, it does not hold a charge. I have to charge it for about 30 minutes every morning before I use it even though it sat on the charger for hours the previous day. I would love to give this 5 stars but having to charge it every day before use is slightly inconvenient. Fortunately, it doesn't take long to charge it enough to use. Do not let this deter you from purchasing as I am still happy with it and my situation may be unique.

Love PopBabies!
I purchased my original PopBabies (in the blue color) in February of 2020. I was super impressed when I tried it for the first time! It handles ice and frozen fruit beautifully. You do need enough liquid in there of course. At times, it wouldn’t start when I was trying to use it and I thought maybe it wasn’t charged enough. The real issue is that it was too full even thought it didn’t seem like it was. Be sure not to overload it. Do a little at a time. I run mine a few times to make sure everything gets nice blended together. I usually use frozen bananas, strawberries and blackberries with baby carrots and cucumbers. In July of 2021, my PopBabies stopped working. Under the bottle where you connect to the base is this rubber part. Some of the rubber bits broke or wore down. Because of this, the base wasn’t making contact with the bottom of the bottle. As a result, the PopBabies would turn on, but the blades wouldn’t spin. I contacted customer service through the email address that came with the blender. I knew it was over a year, and I didn’t expect to get much help, but they sent me their newer mode free of charge. The customer service was excellent. The new on I got is in the light green/mint color. As you can see, there are a few differences between the two blenders, but they work the same. I love my PopBabies blender! I highly recommend it!

Some issues but fantastic product
Really love this product and the company behind it. They're all about consumer product knowledge and I admire that in a company. What you can expect: Fast shipping Quality product An email within 24 hours (I got mine in that time frame) explaining how to prep the bottle for efficient usage Pouring spout Ice tray User manual (adds additional info p etom the email) Smoothie & juice recipe book Charging cord but no block What I liked: The box is sleek and well made, as is the bottle. The ice tray is made of flexible material similar to a jello mold, that is easy to remove ice from. BONUS PERK now you can make chewy ice at home * for non midwesterners chewy ice is what we call the ice you get at sonic* What I didn't like: The pour spout that you put on the cup is a letdown. Made of the same material used on the ice tray but thinner and flimsier. In addition, this was a let down because I got this for protein shakes and powder sticks like glue on it. Another issue I had was the lid crossthreading quite often. Overall view: Good product for those who wish to use this to make smoothies or shake up their protein shakes more thoroughly. I was concerned about the taste drinking directly from, essentially, a blender but it didn't effect the taste at all. Some general issues but nothing that would prevent me from buying 3 more in different colors!

Almost perfect except for one fatal flaw
I was about to give this a stellar 5 star review but today after using this for nearly 4 weeks straight to make my morning Bullet Coffee it sprung a big leak of the not repairable kind! Thought it was the bottom gasket not tight at first but after looking closely there is a seam between the black and clear plastic parts which has failed. They bond a separate plastic part which has thread to accept the blade assembly to the clear plastic container. I liked the feature of being able to remove the blade for cleaning. If I realized at the time how this container was made I would be less confident in its reliability and may have not made the purchase. It’s is a simple butt joint design interface with some methods of adhesion used. This area undergoes thermal expansion from hot to cold changes with use along with internal pressure from blending. Especially hot liquids like my coffee which manufacture states is ok and what this was uniquely designed for. I can actually see a gap in this area if I pull on the black part. Very risky and not repairable. I also see very small cracks forming at that interface which is also telling of the mechanical stresses in this area. Unfortunate as I was calling this the best battery blender and a great find to friends until this failure. Very clean and high quality looking design. Simple is good approach used in this blender. Only one very big fatal flaw in my opinion that I would not say was so much a manufacturing issue but having expertise in areas of adhesion and joint design I would call it a design flaw. I hope the manufacturer can make a design change to this one area. I think they would then have an excellent blender I would love to own. Not there yet.

Excellent Product that worked amazingly well on my trip & is awesome for daily shakes!
The PopBabies Personal Blender is a must for anyone that drinks meal replacement shakes/protein powder and smoothies. I was blown away by how effective this device is at mixing/blending my fine-powdered shake. You might say- well, it doesn't take much to blend milk and powder... But I am here to tell you that the shakes I use must be sufficiently blended, or it tastes like grit...like you're eating sand. So it is of high importance to me that my shakes get blended correctly. I purchased this for a trip I took to Hawaii recently. I successfully took it through TSA, twice, with no questions or even a bag search. There was no damage to the product after traveling. Here's what I like about this personal blender: 1) It is the size of a water bottle. A little larger when connected to the base. It's small and fits well in luggage. 2) The blender is relatively quiet. I would say it compares to the sound of an electric pencil sharpener. It starts at the push of a button and stops on its own. 3) This one comes with a silicone funnel...a must have if using powder. And since it's made of silicone, it packs easily. 4) You won't have to worry about shaking your arm off anymore...only to find out that there's still a bunch of powder to be incorporated. This does the job, and it does it quickly. Things that could be better: 1) They don't tell you this, but you will do it once, and never again. Always remember to put your milk in *first*, then your powder. If you don't, you will be spending a long time cleaning in hard to reach places. I wish they sent a small brush cleaner along in the package. However, when done properly, it's very easy to rinse with water and soap to clean. 2) I am SO glad they give the funnel, because the opening is small. Perhaps making the opening larger (like in other brands), would eliminate the need for a funnel? 3) this is a small thing...but I wish they had an option to choose one that came with a usb-c cord...as I don't have anything else now that uses the old cords. Overall, this is an excellent product. It worked suprisingly well during my travels, and has made my daily shakes much more enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone else interested in a personal blender.

Love/hate relationship
I was hoping for something that would help me make those small quantity sauces and such, like salad dressings or drizzles for one or two servings. You know. All those recipes that you decide not to make because the thought of pulling out your blender for something that will net a quarter of a cup is just too harrowing of an act. So a few things. - it’s incredibly stupid the way it works. Flip it over before you turn it on? Shake it while it’s mixing? No. It won’t work just sitting on the counter. (Unless mine is broken or the stupid is inside me.) - It doesn’t look like such a complex product that requires you to read the instructions but there I was!! If/when you do read them — yes that’s how it works. - it seems you can’t just put in ONLY dry items. I haven’t figured out how to make this thing work without some form of liquid in it. So that’s a fail if I’m trying to chop and mix a coating of sorts (think nut encrusted anything) - I really don’t think it works well for a single serving of anything, liquid or not. And not gonna lie… I’m not gonna make up half a bottle of ginger cucumber blah blah blah dressing only to find that I hate it and have to throw 3/4 of it away. - They are not kidding when they say only fill it up 3/4 of the way. And for whatever weird reason that includes a stack of raw spinach leaves past the three-quarter mark. I’m not sure what sorcery is involved, but this thing knew those spinach leaves went above the three-quarter mark. No smoothie for you! - and when you pull out half of the ingredients in order to get smoothie, I can’t say that it ends up “smooth.“ What resulted was more of a chunky. Despite all these things and probably more (I’ve only had a week), I do find myself figuring out a way to use it every day. And by figuring it out I mean that I have a NEED for using it every day. But putting in the right quantity needed versus a quantity that inevitably results in waste seems to be in art. The jury is still out on whether or not I will take advantage of the return policy or not. Seriously. If anyone has found a product that does all the things this one does not, please put it in the comments.
