Excellent lock! Perfect for making sure your toddlers etc do not get out if they learn to open the deadbolt. Give you that piece of mind I tested this out with some good tugging and force and it is definitely durable. Low pricing also so that’s a plus but more so happy that I have the piece of mind for safety. Other than using this for toddlers this also seems to be a great security feature I feel like this would be quite hard to break down if they even could kick the door in seems like it would be great for people worried about intruders or for instance if you have a landlord than has a key to your place etc these would be great for that as well!

Life saver. My son has recently learned to open the door and this definitely Prevents that from happening. I honestly just wish I could flip it from the out side as well.

Highly recommend omg this thing is a blessing. I bought this as a two pack gave one to my mom for her apartment. In mine, it has the modern ADA doorknob that opens when you hold down the handlebar, it’s not compatible with curious toddlers and small children. I was very paranoid about her running out the apartment but also had an issue at my previous address where someone tried to break in. There is NO WAY IN HELLE THAT SOMEONE IS GOING TO BREAK IN THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR IF THIS IS INSTALLED. All my concerns about my children’s’ safety are accommodated and I feel extra safe in this apartment with this on the door. Don’t waste your time with a door stopper security bar this is a fraction of the price and way more effective. I don’t even think the police could bust the door down with SWAT if you were trying to hide from them lol

These are the absolute best for childproofing. They are so good that not even my 7 year old can open it. Thats the only downside though, they can be a bit tricky to open. Im still really happy with them because I know my kids are safe and cant open the door without me knowing. I bought these for both front and back door. I also love that this provides extra protection in case of a break in.

I (62F) have installed these on doors in several apartments and my home. Allows a door to be quickly secured from the inside, but opened fast in an emergency. I have a door going to the basement with outside access that was a weak spot in our security - no more. The bronze is great against a wood door.

Works great! BEWARE parents with children that can close it. They may not be able to open it once it’s closed but it’s easy to flap close so a child especially on the spectrum could accidentally lock himself or herself in a room.

La cerradura fue muy fácil de instalar en la puerta que tengo con marco de madera ancho; supongo que puertas con marco metálico no sería tan sencillo ni tan seguro. La operación es sencilla, solo es necesario poner atención en el marcado de las perforaciones para que al instalarla, quede de acuerdo a lo requerido de espacio entre la puerta y la cerradura. Es necesario revisar que no haya molduras en el marco que generen dificultad para abrir o cerrar el dispositivo.
