It took me quite some time to find the right sleeve bag for my HP 15.6 inch laptop. The market is flooded with options but finding the right product at the right budget that suits your need is quite a task. After looking into different sites and sorting quite a few sub rs.1000 options, i peeped into amazon and this beauty caught my attention. Now for the record, i went through several reviews here but none was satisfactory and could quench my thirst to know more about how this product will hold in the long run. A few questions that brushed past my mind were like: Will this bag have enough cushioning; Is the chain build quality well enough to survive long run usage; How will be the inner padding and the quality of the material used; And the most important - Will the bag hold a 15.6 inch laptop as claimed by the seller. Now, as we are buying online here, we must have the luxury to assume the product will meet the level of our expectation and i placed my order on this sleeve bag with the same hope. And the wait began. And now after 3 days of waiting, as i have the bag in my hand, here are the answers that might also storming into your minds just as you're going through this review... 1. Amazon delivery and packaging: just as the way you might have seen in an YouTube video, this product comes wrapped in a plastic and placed in a cardboard box that is well sealed. The cardboard box is then again packed in an amazon plastic outer wrapper bag. So no chance of the product getting wet or damaged during transition. 5 star in packing and delivery. 2. Product review: the bag, as in my case is a 15.6 inch one, has an extremely plush appearance. Many people object by saying the bag appears to be pretty costly but yes, if you love your laptop and want a good sleeve within 1000 bucks, possess no doubt about ordering this product. The quality of the material used is again quite good and feels nice at hand. The inner cover is soft and has a mild padding which will do the 'protect your laptop' job quite well. The sole chain present is quite sturdy and will possibly hold on to quite a few rough usage. The bag perfectly holds on to the claim of fitting a 15.6 inch laptop and also there is very little room for the laptop to breathe. Size is extremely fitted and laptop doesn't fumble around inside the bag. There is mild cushioning on both sides and i think that is enough to protect the laptop as well as keeping the bag sleek. The inner material is also well enough to protect the laptop from scratches. A very decent sleeve bag to rise above all the substitutes in the market within 1k price range. Again a 5 star here. Overall a palatial product to take care of your laptop and Amazon basic has proved to be quite trustworthy.

Amazon does it again. Amazon basics is really a great brand. I have bought most of products under this brand. The Sleeve is well padded & Cushioned.The material is soft and feels very premium. The zipper is good quality as well. I feel, if the laptop falls while it being stored in this sleeve, my laptop will survive it. I am using the sleeve for my Surface pro 4. Its a great fit. I have space to squeeze in my charger too. For a conventional laptop, it can be tough to squeeze in the charger. I tried with Macbook, it stored charger as well. Pros: 1. Well cushioned 2. Soft and premium material 3. Price 4. Spacious and great fit for the laptop 5. Fits: Surface pro 4, Macbook air and pro, Lenovo ideapad100 Cons: 1. It can make the storage heavy. Being well padded, the sleeve is not light. It will be little heavy to carry to in your backpack. Overall; i am very satisfied with the purchase. Product:- AmazonBasics 15.6-inch Laptop Sleeve (Grey) Price, delivery & packaging:- I got it on lightning deal at INR 1049. The packaging was perfect and it was delivered well ahead of the delivery by date. My requirements:- A simple sleeve with decent looks to provide my 15.6 inch HP laptop with some added protection since I already own a backpack in which I carry my laptop. So the sleeve had to be slim enough to fit inside the backpack whilst containing my laptop. I also wanted it to moonlight as a pad to place my device on so as to protect it's base from getting any scratches while I worked. First Impressions:- From first looks alone I feel the product would deliver on my requirements. The material looks premium, the insides are very smooth and clean so I am assuming it wouldn't scratch my device while carrying it. The Zipper looks like it's durable and would last for a while. Length wise, it's a perfect fit for my laptop. There is a bit of additional space when it comes to width. But then again not all 15.6 laptops are build the same, so your experience might be different. It does not have any additional pouches and it does not come with a handle or a sling built in. Bottom Line : A very basic Laptop sleeve of good quality. Recommended incase you already own a bag but is still interested in providing some added protection for your precious device. Laptops are meant to be portable. We need to carry them throughout the day from one place to the other. These are expensive and essential gadgets we depend on professionally and casually. Dust is the biggest enemy of any electronic gadget, And mostly gadgets which has openings for cooling, audio, ports etc. Laptops do come in these categories. So, most of the time we keep our laptops inside the bags to protect it from dust and other hazards. Carry bags are sometimes bulky and too big to place anywhere. We travel with them and this same reason will be troublesome when you want to keep the bag on the bed. Its dirty and big. Affordable bags are 'affordable' but they don't provide that protection and trust me..laptop users take their lappies as their PETS and babies..any extra protection is a YES! Here comes Sleeves. They look stylish, provide you the grade 2 portability that laptop carry bags do not and another level of protection from DUST and scratches...not sure what your cat might do to it..but yes definitely Sleeves work! Amazon basic Sleeve is the perfect example what sleeves are for. SIZE is PERFECT for 15.6 inch laptops. EXTRA room for the thickness too. As you can see from the photos I am keeping the Styrofoam piece that came within the package. (IF YOU DO DON'T FORGET TO TURN THE LAPTOP OFF, SLEEP MODE PRODUCES HEAT! ) ZIP is sturdy and of good quality. The material is I GUESS 'POLYURETHANE' which is soft and nice to feel. Bends and folds do give impressions for sometime but eventually wear off. Color GREY looks classy. I bought it for it matches the color of my business suit! (YEAH, I AM FROM 80's) WHAT IT LACKS: Well COMMON AMAZON DESIGNERS!! You forget to put a finger holding side strap!! (Toldcha I am form 80’s)… which is not an issue though! :D Great product. Amazon basics Sleeve dimension of 15" -15.6" (Navy Blue & Black) Diagonal length - 18" Width - 15" Amazon basics Sleeve dimensions of 14" (Black) Diagonal length - 16" Width - 14' I have first ordered the 15.6 size sleeve for MacBook Pro 15", had to return it because it was too big as the diagonal size of my MacBook is 15 but the case is 18"😩😩. Then ordered 15" sleeve which was again the same size. Using a measuring tape found out that my laptop width is 14" and the sleeve dimensions are measured by width, so went ahead and ordered the 14" sleeve. To my surprise the the laptop was sliding in very well & snug, when laptop touched the bottom of the sleeve I realised I couldn't close the zip because the height was small this time (cringe)😤😩😫. I should also say this, that the quality of the sleeve is really good. Navy blue looks really good and the black one is basic. If you have a MacBook Pro 15" then this sleeve is not for you unless you want your laptop moving left&right up&down in the sleeve.
