Wusthof Classic Honing Steel

High quality knife that I have finally acquired after wanting them for a long time. Very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend them.

I've never had a honing steel before. I bought a set of Wusthof knives about a year ago and recently, especially after receiving the honing steel, I really wished I had bought this honing steel when I bought the knives. After just the first use on my knives, I saw great improvement in it's cutting ability. Works great! Couldn't ask for more from the honing steel. I did the paper cutting test before and after the first use of this honing steel. Before honing, it would barely cut or not cut it all, afterwards it cut smoothly. Could be sharper but I would need an actual sharpener to smoothe out that damage. This will get regular use with my knives to help keep the edge. Easy to use and it works.

They advertise a wusthof honing steel that has a logo on the handle. The one I received does not have a logo. It also doesn’t say anything about where it’s made at all.

High quality honing steel, for the knife set that will hopefully be the last set I need to purchase in my lifetime. I decided to upgrade because, I have stopped going out to eat as much, I cook dinner at home nearly every night. We save money and eat healthier, now. With that, I decided we needed better "kitchen tools"

I have been buying Wusthof for a long time. You just can't go wrong. This Classic Steel Honing Steel is of excellent quality and fits comfortably in your hands. Very easy to sharpen your knives.
