I believe it's cotton and polyester but does have a cashmere feel. It's really quite nice. Very soft, perfect size and thin, but surprisingly warm.

It is definitely not cotton. The package says Cashmere. Whatever the fabric it is very nice. I used it for a wedding it is very soft and comfortable.
