I was skeptical about this but thought I would give it a try. It works, just follow the instructions. It is a little had to start when you are first twisting but it gets easy quickly. Minces the garlic very well and not hard to clean. I have only tried it with garlic, which is what I bought it for. I like it.

Works great! Minimal effort and easy clean up. I was able to fix 4-6 bulbs and mince it. Usually with a garlic press I can only fit 1-2 and the cleaning is always a pain. The best kitchen purchase in a while!

Been mincing fresh garlic 2 or3 days a week for years now, but randomly stumbled across this. Fully expected it not to work well, or snap the teeth, but... got it anyway, since I was never 100% thrilled with existing mincers. After 2 uses, I was dumbfounded at how much better this was. Minces 3x easier than my old squeeze grip mincers. Quicker to “load” Cloves too, and can use twice as many. Cloves STAYPUT and do not slide out mid-way thru. After some practice, you can adjust how “crushed” you want it as well- broken/minced/practicallypuree. After 1st week of uses, the back and forth grind motion became muscle memory; i spend more energy breaking open bulbs than mincing now, not the other way around. Warning tho- the outer “handles” used to grip it are **completely smooth**; there is no sandy coarseness or ridging carved in, to keep a good grip. Would be 5star if it did. I can grip/grind without much issue, but for anyone that struggles with hand/wrist issues, I wouldn’t exactly recommend it without one of those flat rubber jar assist openers or similar. Clearing the garlic out is fairly ok, I use either a spoon or a small silicone bowl scrapper. Cleaning doesn’t take much effort either- I’m a daily garlic mincer now (since.. its easy now) so I use a bristle brush under some warm tap water+detergent thru the week. Takes a whole minute to wash/dry and back on the counter for tomorrow’s use. Doesn’t retain any garlic smell either. I add it to the Dishwasher topshelf 1x week; no warping at all. Been thru ?a dozen+? cycles by now, seems legit. I’m a Garlic fan, I add it to dishes frequently, so... this goes on my Kitchen #MustHave List. Ginger mincing works “good” (but not great) for me as well, but not my primary use. Was about to buy a 2nd Garlictwister (for cycling usage, or eventually... travel :), but think I’ll wait for a Gen5; see if they add some grip along the “corners” or something. Or maybe... A CAP to store the other half of the bulb... found a bamboo lid rounded with a rubber ring that inserts perfectly (like a shallow cork) from a set of 200ml Borosilicate jars i have (EZOware? EVOware? Something like that) Would Buy Again. In a heartbeat. WILL buy another in the future.

I have used all sorts of devices to chop or crush garlic and they are either hard to clean or difficult to squeeze or exhibit some other kind of difficulty. This one is so easy to use and clean that I give them as gifts to my culinary minded friends. If you like to cook with garlic then buy this!

Minces the garlic very fine. I have always used a chef’s knife to dice my garlic to a fine consistency. The way I like to cook with it. It is very tedious work and I have been looking for something other than a garlic press to make life easier. I don’t like how the garlic presses process the garlic but this seems to work great and gets it to a consistency that I like. Design works and product is well constructed. Easy to clean.

I never leave reviews. I absolutely love garlic and hate using jarlic or trying to use a garlic press. This thing right here is WONDERFUL. I use it all the time and when I’m done I rinse it off and throw it in the dishwasher. It’s worth every penny. I am very very happy with it.

I really wanted to love this and I don’t hate it. If you’re thinking of getting it you will probably love it. I just wish that perhaps the inside “teeth” were maybe a bit sharper. It definitely minces the garlic almost into a paste but I found it tedious to try and grind more than one or two garlic cloves at a time. It works much better on individual cloves so its not really a time saver. It also was harder to “turn” or grind than I expected it to be…. I really wanted to just pop in some garlic and voila! But there’s quite a bit of pressure and re-adjusting required. It almost feels “sticky” when I try to turn it. If you are trying to AVOID THE MESS of dirtying an entire cutting board to add garlic to a dish then it is probably worth it. However I use a LOT of garlic in most of my meals and I found that it was much more timely and easier to just buy a couple cheap smaller cutting boards that I can throw in the dishwasher. Seems good for people who may not want to deal with knives for whatever reason maybe lol. Easy to clean though.

The perfect Christmas culinary present! Top of the line garlic grinder, usable with ginger and other small spices. Lovely green glass. You won’t want to part with it unless you already have one yourself.

I bought on spec, but have gone back to my old crusher. Too messy to use, and too much wastage of garlic.

Bought this several months ago and now use it almost everyday. I threw out my other garlic mincers and exclusively use this one. It's so easy to use. The first time it was hard to twist it a few times if use it loosened. I do use it for ginger but it doesn't work as well as with garlic. Overall very great kitchen gadget to have around!

My wife bought me one two years ago and I use it all the time. This was a present for my brother in law who also cooks a lot. The best garlic crusher I have ever used.
