Love this lotion - Beekman 1802 makes amazing products

If you love the scent of lemon
Just received my lotion and didn’t pay attention to the size when I ordered it. Is it expensive- yes. But oh my, the fragrance really is what you imagine sunshine and lemons to be like. So citrus and clean, absolutely love it.

Formula 10/10 smell 1/10
Does not smell even the faintest bit like vanilla. I even brought it to work and had everyone else smell it in case I'm noseblind, everyone agrees this is not at all vanilla scented. The formula however is wonderful, it feels AMAZING on my painfully chapped elbows, it's hydrating while being lightweight and easy to rub in. It's silky and non-greasy. But to call this "vanilla absolute" is insane, I'm half convinced this is the unscented in the wrong packaging

Good if you only need lightweight hand cream formula but not for very dry skin
Very light hand creams which are great if you're looking for hand creams that soak in quickly and don't leave much residue on your hands. Unfortunately my hands are too dry for lightweight hand creams. They smell lovely though.

Goes on smooth and feels good.
I wasn’t sure about buying hand lotion online. I like to feel it first! I was looking for an alternative to the bath and body “naturals” line which are still so over-fragranced. I was really impressed with this lotion. I like the plain version of this and just add one drop of my favorite essential oil like grapefruit or lavender to customize the scent. Highly recommend. Not greasy at all.

Ridiculously small fur the price and imho it didn’t smell like lilacs but that just could be me. Others may love it tho.
