Grate Wall of Fire Model RF-7 Reflective Fireback 31" Wide, 15 1/2" Tall.

I used this behind our new gas log set in a wood burning fireplace. This item really helps reflect heat into the room. It is HEAVY at over 70 lbs. The box was thrashed when received, but the fireback was fine. Difficult to put into place because of weight. I am confident I will never move it again. Ha.VERY happy we bought this item and installed it.

Bought the T-7 fire grate a couple of years ago and have loved it. Added the RF-7 reflective fire-back and am amazed at the increase in heat output. Great products both, heavy duty and exceed expectations.

I'm using this with the wall of fire grate, the heat output when you manage your damper just right is much better than a traditional grate system. I have my couch about fifteen feet from the fireplace and the amount of heat radiated back makes the couch warm to the touch, kind of like a heated blanket level of warmth. The welds are quality and the shape and thickness of the metal is uniform.One piece of advice I'm glad I followed was making sure you measure the back of your fireplace and get the largest set that will fit. The 31" set fit perfectly in my fireplace with about an inch or so to spare on both sides, when it's fully loaded and lit it's very impressive to have your entire fireplace ablaze.

New homeowners with a beautiful fireplace here. So, of course, I have to post videos of my beautiful, crackling fires on my Facebook page. A friend told us about the fireback they bought for their fireplace. We bought this one. It was the tallest one on Amazon - I wish there was a larger one - height-wise. The heat reflected very nicely into the room. The reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is that it would not stand up straight. We had to wedge a rock in back of it to keep it from falling into the back of the fireplace.

OMG!!! awesome!!!! We built our custom home and had to have a 50" fireplace 😖 After extending the stock twice, we damn near called uncle! The house always smelled like smoke and we gave the smoke alarms a workout for sure! 😫 We figured wth, a couple hundred dollars was worth a try before we either spent 10k+ replacing it or use duraflame only. This works amazingly well, we just can't "poke" the fire because a bit of smoke will come in when it falls to the front. But, because of the design we don't need to attend the fire like we did with the traditional one. I just wish the back plate was a bit taller. But overall, awesome purchase!

Love the Grate Wall of Fire. Once the fire gets going the Grate heats up and our whole house is toasty warm!

Using to protect the fireplace wall, which is cement with faux brick pattern. It took a bit wrestling it into place due to its weight, but, I manged just fine. Watch your back lifting it into place as this could easily wreck your back.

Solidly built, well designed. It’s benefit for protecting the inside of the fireplace makes it worth it. 4 stars because it didn’t put out as much heat as we expected.
