Ghost Weightless Fine Hair Oil | For Styling + Heat Protection

My hair looks and feels incredible!!! I’ve been searching for a hair oil that moisturizes, tames frizz, but most importantly doesn’t weigh down or make my hair look greasy, and I have finally found it! My hair is medium/coarse, really thick and butt length. I struggle with my mid length and ends drying out between washes. Despite having medium/coarse hair most hair oils I’ve used weigh my hair down too much and make my hair look really greasy in spots but then the rest would still look dry and frizzy. So my hair somehow ends up looking greasy and weighed down, AND frizzy/dry. A true nightmare combo. I saw several people recommending this for wavy hair that gets weighed down easily like mine and decided to give it a try. It is kinda pricey but I think it was well worth the price. I got the largest bottle and you only need a tiny amount so it will last me for months, and again I have super thick and long hair so I’d imagine this will last ages for someone with shorter hair. I’ve been using it for about a week and I’ve already noticed a big difference in my hair. It is so much softer and less frizzy and unruly. My waves are more defined and tamed, my hair doesn’t just feel but looks softer too. Too early to tell if it’s making any difference in my hairs strength but it looks and feels amazing! Doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. I can apply it daily between washes without it making my hair look progressively greasy. It smells pleasant and not very strong, I’m not sure what the scent is but it does leave my hair smelling clean and nice all day, but very subtle.

This definitely works well for fine hair! It leaves my hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. It has a light, pleasant scent. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. It’s a great value for the price! I will be purchasing again!

I recently started taking my haircare routine more seriously as part of a six-month self-care journey, and this oil has honestly been one of the best products I have added. I have natural 4C hair, and this feels like liquid silk. It is truly weightless, just as the name suggests, but still leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth, nourished, and beautifully silky without making it feel greasy or heavy. A little goes a long way, and the finish is pure perfection. This is easily the best hair oil I have ever used. I cannot see myself being without it now, and I am already interested in trying more products from this line. 10/10 — absolutely worth it.

I have been using Verb Ghost Oil for a couple years, and my hair has changed a lot during that time. When I first started using it, I had very fine, thin, straight hair around chin-to-shoulder length. I had tried several other hair oils before, but they all made my hair look greasy, wet, or weighed down. Ghost Oil was completely different. Even with my very thin, fine hair, it absorbed really well and never felt heavy. I couldn't believe it! On days when my hair looked frizzy or untamed, I would use a small amount and run it through my hair. It always makes my hair look smoother, softer, shinier, and healthier without flattening it. I now have long k-tip extensions (about chest length). My hair is still not very thick, and I still use Ghost Oil almost daily. Sometimes I use it before bed for extra moisture, and other times I use it after curling my hair once the curls have cooled. It makes my curls look soft, smooth, and shiny with a little bit of bounce, instead of dry or stiff. I do also use it on straight hair, just to give it shine and make it smooth. Also, whenever my hair just seems “off,” I reach for this oil and it always helps. I also occasionally apply it to damp hair as a moisturizing treatment. A little goes a very long way. Before extensions, one pump was enough. Now with long extensions, I only need about 2–3 pumps max. I also love that it provides heat protection up to 450 degrees, which means I do not need to layer multiple styling products on my hair when heat styling. The scent is nice, it is light, clean, and not overpowering. The bottle is pricey, but because you use so little at a time, it lasts a long time and feels worth it to me.

I was trying to find a less pricey alternative to Paul Mitchel's awapuhi styling oil and Verb's is the closest I've come, but it's just not there at the "excellent" mark where the awapuhi is—for me. I've long, thick but extremely fine hair, and it goes from curly at my neck to almost straight at my crown, which means it gets tangled a lot unless it's in a bun, which fine hair doesn't so much like. I also work outside, so my hair's exposed to the elements and a lot of opportunity to tangle (dread) and dry out. I need a product that allows each strand to just glide over the other. Verb's oil does a decent job of that. The wind was whipping today, my hair was whirling around in a ponytail, and Verb's oil did prevent a pancake dread hair disaster. Verb's oil also doesn't make my hair stiff or weigh it down, as so many other oils have. I'd even use kukui oil over most other things I've tried (never coconut; too heavy and too scented. Argan's no good, either), but I would use Verb's oil over kukui as well. I've used fresh awapuhi ginger in my hair before because it grows where I live, although not in abundance unfortunately. It's a super light, beautiful moisturizer, and that element is all that's missing from Verb's oil. It isn't advertised to have any moisturizing properties, but it would be nice. I do 100% recommend Verb's Ghost Oil, it's just that something else super expensive absolutely swept me off of my feet.

This oil is the lightest, non greasy effective way to tame the frizzues I've found. This bottle may be small to dome but it takes very little oil to amply do the job. The last bottle I ordered was over a year ago. It's great. I'm happy to see the consistency and strength is still the same and there is no harsh smell etc. The bottle arrived packed well and was entact. No.leaks. Overall I think it's a great value for the price.

I am really surprised by how much I like this VERB Ghost Oil. I have fine hair, and most oils usually weigh it down or leave it looking oily. This one is genuinely weightless and completely non-greasy. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth without any heavy residue. Definitely a new staple in my styling routine!

I know this is going to sound crazy. I can assure you that I do not work for the company and I am not receiving any reward for writing this review. First let me tell you that this was much too greasy and heavy for my hair. My hair is very fine and thin and this product weighed my hair down and it was very difficult to wash out. However I noticed it made my hands feel soft and it lasted. SO i decided to try it on my legs. I have MBC and take a medication that suppresses estrogen. I am also entering my 70s so my skin is very dry and getting crepey. I think that is what it is called. My legs are the worse so I tried two pumps of the oil mixed with a little Cera ve intense moisturizer. The results were incredible. No more crepe and my legs feel soft and healthy. So I moved on to my arms and my hands and the same thing. It’s a miracle oil at least for me. I took a before and after picture to show you and it gets better the more I use it.

Truly is weightless and nice smelling. I mix it in my hand with either Paul Mitchell gloss drops or skinny serum then apply to my very fine fragile hair, makes brushing wet a breeze and my hair feels feather soft and shiny. Superior product brands.

I love this stuff so much . I have every long hair and this simply moisturises and doesn’t make my hair sticky or heavy or yucky. Gives a beautiful smooth finish. I wish they sold in Australia.
