We have now 3y old that is scared of barber from beginning. We were struggling to cut his hair with scissors each time it grow too long. Till I found this hair clipper. They are children friendly. Really quiet, small, not bulky or heavy like lots of normal clippers. It's cutting hair really good without pulling any at the same time. It's super easy to clean them after each use. Battery seems to be excellent also as we charged it once at begging and cut his hair 3 times without any problems already. It's brilliant product for great price. Would definitely recommend it.

My son is on the spectrum and barber visits are essentially hell. He hates them. Doesn’t like the sound of the clippers. Rarely sits down to have a quick cut. More often than not, his hair is left to grow out as it’s too traumatic for him and his barber. I found these and thought, why not? It’s worth a shot. Well, just wow. Little to no noise from the clippers and they’re water proof. I was able to do his hair while he showered (helped to distract him) and while he didn’t love it, he didn’t kick up a fuss or have a meltdown either. In fact, he allowed me to finish his look, just as long as he could constantly keep the shower head on himself to avoid itchiness from cut hair. 100% recommendation for other SEN parents whose little ones struggle with sensory overloads.

Quiet, easy to use.

For the first time in 5 years, we have been able to (somewhat) properly cut our 10yr old autistic sons hair. This is a huge win for us and our son. While the clippers are not silent, and we didn’t expect them to be, they are far quieter than standard clippers that we have previously tried. They are also friendly looking, so we left it out for our son to basically play with, as it looks like a toy. We attached the 3/6 attachment, so the bare clippers were not exposed. Even if they were, these are still very safe and wouldn’t cause any harm or injury. He turned it on and off throughout the day, touching the clippers off his cheek or arm, and sometimes his hair, familiarising himself with the clippers. By the end of that day, he was comfortable enough for us to sit next to him and cut his hair with them. He now has a fresh buzz cut, and his face is back to being bright and happier looking. This has been an instant success for us. Delighted with these clippers. Everybody is dealing with different challenges with haircuts for autistic children, but based on our experience, these are definitely worth trying.

After looking at lots of different clippers for kids with sensory needs i settled on these and i have never been so happy! My 4yr old has sensory issues, especially with noises and touch (please someone invent a touchless way of clipping toenails!) and has refused a haircut for the best part of a year. Before that we were able to coax him into letting his favourite person cut it three times (his granny), but has refused from it. Honestly these clippers have the sound and feel of an electric toothbrush but still cut! I showed my son them, let him turn the on and off, showed him the pictures on it and told him they were special clippers for children. After 2 days he let us give him a full cut 🙌🏼 His hair is so thick but he was happy to let us work away the whole 10mins. Now every childs sensory limits will be different, but for quietness and low vibration, these are well worth the money. Can't speak to the longevity or battery life yet.

Not silent, but quiet enough to allow me to cut my 1year old son’s hair! With a little distraction, he was fine with this and the clipper is very smooth and cuts well, so only a few sweeps needed to get the job done.

I am requesting a full refund for the ENSSU Electronic Baby Hair Clipper – Standard Version due to serious safety concerns and extremely poor product performance. I fully charged the device for several hours until the LED indicator showed green, confirming it was fully charged. I then used it to trim the hair of my 1-week-old baby. After approximately 3–4 minutes of use — and only completing about one-third of the haircut — the machine suddenly pulled my baby’s hair into the blade mechanism and stopped working completely. The hair became tightly stuck inside the device. This created a terrifying and dangerous situation, as the clipper was firmly attached to my baby’s head. Attempting to pull it away risked injuring my baby’s delicate scalp, and using scissors was impossible because the device was tightly pressed against the skin. This was an extremely distressing and unsafe experience. Due to the seriousness of this safety issue, I am requesting: A full refund Immediate investigation of this seller That this product be reviewed for safety compliance under UK regulations I was forced to urgently take my baby to a barber to safely remove the stuck hair and resolve the situation. I will also be leaving a negative safety review to warn other parents of newborn babies, as this product could cause serious injury. Please confirm the return process and refund as soon as possible.

​I bought these ENSSU clippers hoping they’d be the answer to our haircutting struggles, but they fall short on a few major fronts. ​First off, let’s talk about safety and comfort. The ceramic blades with rounded tips actually do a decent job of not snagging or nicking his skin, which is the bare minimum you expect from a baby clipper. But despite being marketed as "ultra-quiet" and suitable for sensory needs, they still emit a noticeable hum. Because of his sensitivities, my son still absolutely hates the noise coming from these. It might be slightly quieter than a heavy-duty barber's clipper, but there are definitely still enough decibels there to cause him distress, meaning the haircut is still a battle. ​Then there’s the durability and battery life, which is my biggest frustration. While they cut smoothly straight off a full charge, you can literally feel the power decreasing and the motor struggling before you’ve even finished a single cut. It doesn't feel like a heavy-duty piece of kit built to last. You end up having to rush just to get the job done before it dies and starts pulling hair instead of cutting it. ​My other annoyance is the charging cable. In this day and age, everything should just be USB-C, but this uses its own specific connector. If you lose the wire that comes in the box, it is going to be a massive headache trying to find a replacement. ​Overall, they are safe on the skin and cut fine when fully juiced, but the fading power and the fact that it still upsets my son means it didn't live up to the marketing for us.
