Really quiet, small, not bulky or heavy like lots of normal clippers. It's cutting hair really good without pulling any at the same time. It's super easy to clean them after each use. This is a huge win for us and our son.While the clippers are not silent, and we didn’t expect them to be, they are far quieter than standard clippers that we have previously tried. They are also friendly looking, so we left it out for our son to basically play with, as it looks like a toy. We attached the 3/6 attachment, so the bare clippers were not exposed. Even if they were, these are still very safe and wouldn’t cause any harm or injury. He turned it on and off throughout the day, touching the clippers off his cheek or arm, and sometimes his hair, familiarising himself with the clippers. By the end of that day, he was comfortable enough for us to sit next to him and cut his hair with them. He now has a fresh buzz cut, and his face is back to being bright and happier looking.This has been an instant success for us. Delighted with these clippers.
