You never know what you are going to get sometimes with hair products. This one is spot on. I have found that many hair products for short hair tend to be scented strongly "male" with a heavy cologne smell. This one is perfect, it does not make you smell like a man, unless of course that is what you are going for. As a female this scent is perfect, light and bright. The cream texture is smooth and you can work it well into your hair and it disappears well. It does not leave your hair dull like clay products do, it makes your hair feel as if it has hold but not stiff it stays soft with a nice hold. You never look over "styled" Very pleased, may buy a couple more... because you guys know that as soon as you find a favorite product they discontinue it!

Husband loves this hair styling cream. Works great, perfect hold. Perfect for styling and keeps in place, but not crunchy or hard! He has been using it for over a year. That should say enough.

Headlock is a good hair cream. it does leavy sticky substance in the hair. it keaves my hair looking matte finished and not hard. A bit expensive!

Have older, thinner hair, just hard to manage, Keep going back to this hard to find product in either matte or trying this cream.

Been using this product for years. Holds my hair all day and adds great texture. Couldn’t recommend it more for dudes with super straight hair.

The only hair product I use but it is very expensive compared to others. If money is no issue than I would definitely recommend.

I go between this and the ruckus forming cream. they both smell great, fresh and clean, but different - so that will be up for opinion, though i doubt either scents would offend anyone. the hold is about the same as ruckus, and the only real difference i find between the two is the scent and the level of shine (ruckus is slightly shiny, while this one is matte). both wash out pretty well, and both are on the slightly more expensive side of men's hair product. i've also tried the billy jealousy styling Mud, which definitely holds better than either this or ruckus, but i'm not a fan of the heavier 'creamy' scent of that one (again, YMMV). the mud also doesn't wash out as easily. having been a Gatsby fan in the past (i've tried the yellow, red, green and brown, settling on the green for awhile), i can tell you that i find the billy j products to be superior and have switched.

I'm a guy with fairly curly and frizzy hair. Love this product because it's smooth, not sticky, not greasy, smells great, and keeps the frizz out. It's not the strongest hold though but definitely something I'll be buying again.

Das Zeug ist einmalig. Gibt Form und Volumen, lässt das Haar aber geschmeidig und matt. Super auswaschbar, pflegt das Haar, nach dem Waschen fühlt es sich noch besser an. Der Duft macht süchtig. Ich glaube, ich kaufe mir auh noch das Ruckus von Billy Jealousie, die Firma hat den Dreh raus. 1000%ige Kaufempfehlung !! Habe mein Produkt gefunden, es sei denn, dass Ruckus ist noch besser, was eigentlich nicht mehr geht.
