Identity Stronghold Designer Sleeve Combo Pack, Leather Look Collection, Pack of 10 (IDSHTVDESLEAL)

These are beautiful! They are well made, made in the U.S.A., and they fit well. I had previously bought another brand that had a defective seam on one of the card holders and the passport sleeve was too large for my holder.I spent a lot of time studying the FIPS 201 approved products list and selected this because (1) the company's products are on it (same product? I don't know, but I'm assuming they use the same materials and construction for all their sleeves); (2) they have lots of attractive designs (I bought the Bubbles combo set); (3) when I emailed the company with a question, I was impressed with how responsive they were and the guidance they provided.Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I really want card sleeves with landscape orientation (opening on the long side). My holder holds cards horizontally, so that would enable me to leave the sleeve in the holder and just slide the card in and out. If Identity Stronghold comes out with a landscape-orientation sleeve, I will replace these with that.

Showed up to airport TSA, had my passport in a passport sleeve (wallet and everything else in purse thru conveyor belt scanner). TSA told me to carry my passport thru the scanner with me (probably cuz it was already in my hand). This sleeve kept setting off the alarms when I walked thru. After the 3rd time, the TSA guy asked me to hand him my passport (and sleeve), and I walked thru without it. No alarms - imagine that! lol. He then held just the passport (and sleeve) up to the scanner and it set off the alarms.So it does block signals YEA - but don't carry it thru the scanner with you (even when TSA tells you too), just put it in your purse or carryon that your sending your wallet and other stuff thru the conveyor belt scanner.

Product as advertised and I use them. Should note though that they contain a metallic liner which provides the security from someone trying to activate your card chip and steal your info. These liners can set off airport metal detectors. No big deal if you are ready for it (I wasn't ready and it delayed my trip through security --was able to convince them the body cavity search wasn't necessary though so no harm done).

Functional, and if it does the job that's all that matters.A little tough to get passport with sleeve back into leather passport wallet, that's expected.Would have been 5 stars, if the graphics on the sleeves were as bright and vivid as the photo in the posting.

If I could give zero I would because I have zero confidence these will work. Noted in many reviews are the feature of a metallic liner that is supposed to ensure the card cannot be skimmed. The set I purchased have no such liner. I received the liners on 8/7/17 and decided to use them even though I doubt the efficacy of this product. The paper stock is very soft and have already frayed. I took one of the liners apart and it's just paper, it's a single layer of card stock not two layers with a liner sandwiched between the two. There is no evidence of any kind of special liner or any other thing in them or on them. At the time I also ordered a set of liners from a different seller because they included liners opening in the landscape orientation. The quality of those cards is vastly improved over the Identity Stronghold and there is a most definite silver lining in them. Rather than going through the hassle of returning them I will use them for cards that do not have my private information linked or have a chip. Ten buck waste of money.

When I first received the sleeves I though the insides just looked like cardboard stock and they wouldn't work at all. I was very disappointed until I put my company badge in the sleeve and ran it over the card reader at work. It would not read the badge!! I am VERY happy I purchased these. With people being able to walk by you and scan your credit cards at will the sleeves are a fantastic idea for protecting yourself from theft. I definitely recommend people buying these. They arrived in great condition and within a short time frame.

I don't know much able these but I decided to buy them to be safe. Not sure how this item works because it appears to be a paper folder. I do not see the material used to stop the scanning. I ordered another set somewhere else after researching the item and am not going to use these. The other ones ordered appeared to use a different material in their card sleeves than these. Fast shipping tho.

Was having problems with fake credit card transactions until I started using these. Been about two years wihout a problem.
