When put in warm milk and left overnight to infuse, the colour is intense. The first photograph shows the saffron infused milk drizzled over biriani style rice before baking in the oven. The second photograph shows the finished rice after baking. The quantity I bought is sufficient for occasional use. And the more one spends the less expensive it becomes, it appears to be good value for money, though I should say I am not experienced in matters involving saffron.
