Kirkland Signature Mature Multi Vitamins & Minerals with Lycopene and Lutein 400 Tablets - Compare to Centrum Silver

Wow! This is a great big bottle of vitamins that will last me a whole year. Overall it is a great price for what you get. It has 500I.U. of Vit D which is enough for most people but if you live in northern states they have increased the recommended daily dose to 800 -1000I.U. daily. Low vitD levels have been associated with depression and FMS symptoms. Women at risk for osteoporosis will need to add a daily calcium 1000mg and VitD supplement with this product, but you’re probably taking that already. It would be nice if it had more B vitamins. If you’re a person who needs higher vitB levels you will need to add a supplement. There’s not much potassium in this product so if you take a diuretic (“water pill”) for your high blood pressure you might want to keep that in mind. But most of you can get enough daily potassium with a healthy diet. Unlike most multivitamins it has lutein & lycopene which is needed for your eyes if you are 50years or older. There is no iron which is appropriate for most people but if you have problems with anemia you might want to supplement this. There’s isn’t much VitK so it shouldn’t interfere with most blood thinners.

Just what I needed

Introduction: Years ago, my primary care provider recommended that I take vitamin supplements to increase my Calcium and vitamin D levels. I have taken a variety of brand name and generics over the years. Pros: This brand works as good as other brand name and generic multi-vitamins. My Calcium levels have been within the acceptable blood test range, and other blood levels have been good. The price is also well below brand names. Cons: None. Misc.: There is nothing special about this particular product that sets it apart from others. Conclusion: I recommend this product.

I'm 48 but Amazon was out of the regular vitamins I get, so I decided to get an early start on these "mature" ones. I think they are only slightly adjusted to provide a little more calcium that we need for stronger bones as we get older. I like that the bottle has a convenient flip top cap. The vitamins themselves are an easy to swallow size and are scored in the middle, in case you need to split in half. I haven't had any bad aftertaste or upset stomach like some vitamins or pills can cause. I would definitely recommend and I'll purchase them again. Good seller, good product, quick shipping

The size of the bottle is larger than a 12 oz cola can as seen in the photo! Expiration date is October 2022 on this bottle. YMMV Amazon was out of the “Nature Made” multiple vitamins with the USP badge that I usually buy. I came across these (Costco) Kirkland Signature multiple vitamins with the USP badge while searching. FWIW, For me the USP badge affords a little peace of mind. At least I know the vitamins have been spot checked by an independent laboratory to insure potency. Personally, I find that a little sip of water to wet the vitamin in my mouth makes it easier to swallow.

I'd like to say I know that these are great for you, but I'd be lying. I think they don't hurt me, and my Doc agrees. At 71, with a lifetime of bad eating habits and tendencies to go for periods on 1,200 calories per day, I figure these can fill in some of the holes I'm missing. Call it superstition, but I figure why change what seems to be working. The capsule is not small, but I haven't had any trouble getting them down. I chase them with two of Kirkland's Fish Oil.

Great vitamins. Normally my urine turns yellow when I took other vitamins brand. Kirland doesn't give me that effect. I hope it shows the vitamins are all absorbed by the body. According to doctors the yellow shows the vitamins are being disposed of through urine.
