To tie it down but still be able to open it?** A: You can use the strap slots for the shoulder strap on the side of the cooler to anchor tie downs.. I made tie downs out of 1 inch polyester webbing and nylon quick connectors to anchor my Engel 19QT while allowing me to still open the lid. I have used the Engel 19QT on the back of a motorcycle and on the back of a Zero Turn Mower that I built rack for.
