The book is the next logical step to showing the world map and countries.
My grand daughter liked the book, and was curious to learn about all the countries, the places of interest and the animals found in those countries. Very concise and colorful book, ideal for kids over 3 to learn about travel, the world and places to see.

Must buy book but order a glue stick too with this!
I gave a star less to this book, not because of the content but because of the pathetic binding. I have book on dinosaurs of this same collection and my child is enjoying reading it multiple times since last 1 year and the book still looks like brand new. As far as content is concerned it is simply awesome for those who are typically knowledge freak kids and loves to explore everything beyond their regular school books.

National Geographic never dissappoints
The book is great. Your little one can learn many different things about the world and yet a vast amount of knowledge for the recommended age. We read this book when she was 5 first then visited the book again and again either to discuss or learn more. Very nice book with lots of beautiful pictures. High-quality printing. You cannot go wrong with National Geographic books for sure.
